J’s used to be a great place to pick up food for us here in the Olympia area. Now they almost never pick up their phone. It’s very hard to call in an order. Also, our favorite app fried veggies (zucchini, squash & okra) which was maybe the best thing on the menu is now just okra, pickles or mix. Burgers are OK. Captain Crunch chicken tenders are weird and our 5 year old won’t eat them. Service here seems to have gone way downhill since Covid.

I have been here twice now and both times the food has been top notch. The bacon ranch mac and cheese is so big that two people can easily split it and be very full. The smashed potatoes always have the perfect amount of seasoning and crisp. I have been impressed by the quality of food both times and everyone I have gone with has been equally impressed.

Clean, organized with great drink selections and very tasty food. Menu not so large that you don’t have to worry that they can’t make everything well. Super service. We sat at the corner of the bar so the four of us could carry on a conversation easily. Spotless restrooms. I always prefer a venue where I can see the food preparation. Have to try the shrimp Po boy. Outside seating.

There menus are gross old papers. I was disappointed to find out the Nachos no longer come with guacamole. The server said the menus are out dated. This place has so much potential but small things like this matters.

Unfortunately this was a terrible choice for us. While the service was fine, the food was horrible and far overpriced. We were served small medallions of what was supposed to be a grilled chicken entree that had been overcooked to the point of being hockey pucks. The sides were equally small as well as bland or greasy. At $15.95 per plate, we expected far better. Never again!
