Where do I begin… this location has a great atmosphere with good music and the staff was friendly. The food was delicious and well presented. I had the oxtail with dirty rice and cabbage and my companion had the red fish with dirty rice. Let me say the portions were great and the flavors were superb! The waitress informed us about the wait due to the cooking process so we had the wings as an appetizer and they too were delicious. We will definitely visit again. Chef J came to our table and had a nice little chat. If you are looking for a nice experience and good food stop by the Richardson location I promise you will not be disappointed! We were offered to try the hibiscus juice before we left and it was so good, I purchased one to take home.

Food was phenomenal. Every time I come back, I get oxtail and mac n cheese. One of my favorites is actually the brussels sprouts. So crispy and flavorful. My only issue was that one time I went, it took them around 45 minutes to bring out 1 jerk chicken and 1 mac n cheese. The wait was very long but very worth.

The staff and service are great! I can’t remember what the blackboard special was but they were out of it, but sign was still up. It’s BYOB which is one reason our group ate here. Some of the group has been here before so I know they like the food. Not my favorite type of food so I had french fries. Nice to support a small local business! Give it a try if you like Mediterranean type food.

We were seated right away. Very clean and nice music in the background. We ordered the Lobster Mac n cheese stuffed turkey leg ans the vegan oxtails with mushrooms rice. It was delicious!!! Bonus that the food was served hot!!!! Will definitely be back. They have a rewards program too so we get $8.50 off our next visit. Their brunch menu looks amazing. Can’t wait to try more.

The food was some of the best Caribean/African (vegan) food I have ever had. The flavor of the food and drinks was amazing. Nice decor. The music was a nice r&b and afrobeats blend. The hostess and servers are very welcoming. Please open a location in Houston and take our money. I had the lamb chops and vegan lobster mac and cheese. We also had the beef and shrimp vegan Nachos.

Really REALLY great experience at this restaurant. The service is good, the food is even better. She takes her time to make sure the food is good and plates the food as well. You will eat some of the best food in the DFW area here and the cook is so sweet. She comes out and makes sure the guests love the food and has conversations with us. The food sometimes take a little longer to come out, but I don’t mind at ALL because the food is always fresh and delicious. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for some really wonderful, flavorful food.

Literally the most amazing meal I’ve had in a while! I live four minutes away and didn’t even know it was there, so glad I got to discover it today. We got the Salmon with dirty rice (and duh we added the alfredo sauce to it) and the jerk chicken with a shrimp pasta. We went on a tuesday around 4pm and there was no wait at all. 10/10 I can’t wait to come back and try more of the menu

This restaurant was a lovely treat for us! Situated in a Richardson, TX shopping strip, it’s somewhat hidden, but worth the find. Jay and Stael brought their international flair from the Congo to the US, and they did not disappoint. Bring your patience with you, as every entree is made fresh to order. If you are in a rush, find a fast food drive thru restaurant. However, if you desire a dish that tickles your pallet, go and visit JS International Grill.
