Yo. As a lonely female traveler from Michigan, Jordan could not have made me feel more welcome and safe in the environment of Juan Tequila. Lemme say, the quesabirria- ON POINT. I have never, I can’t even explain. Omg. I have never experienced bar food at the level of Juan Tequila, nor have I had such a friendly conversation with a bartender (Jordan) as I have tonight. Came in the evening to see one of our favorite groups play live. This place gets overcrowded fast you cant dance or even get to the restrooms. The staff is really pushy and comes off rather desperate on selling you bottles instead of ensuring you enjoy the place.

I’ve been told many times that this is a great place to try tequilas and great margaritas, and the food pairs perfectly, but in reality it wasn’t close to the hype. I asked for different tequilas only to be told they don’t have that one, but I could clearly see a bottle on the third shelf, which mean service sucks or the bottle is for show. What’s worse is it wasn’t even a restaurant. While eating, they were blasting rave beats and light shows, worse they started taking the chairs forcing up to stand, no bueno… I’m not going back here that was a mix of unprofessionalism, poor service, and the margaritas were tequila mixed with syrup flavors.

I have to admit I was a little leary going in because it was a little early so the place was a little empty. To our surprise the music was great and the bartender was amazing. Oddly enough he knew what we needed without us saying a word. We went from an awkward situation to completely relaxed just enjoying the environment. The bartender even gave us a rundown of the schedule so we would know what was happening and the vibe for the night. I will definitely be going back because that was an unexpected great time.

the music is so loud and annoyin. every day they try to force this loud horrible music with earth shaking beats that will destroy peoples electronics in their houses near by. all this for a tiny bar playing music as loud as an arena. and not american music, very annoying the most annoying music ever. i hate juans tequila am trying to get it shut down
