Ever since competing Mexican joints opened up in Long Beach I slept on Juan’s. A few weeks back we tried it due to the competition being crowded and full of crying babies. I don’t know if they revamped the menu while I was gone from Juan’s or if I just forgot how good the food was but this is now my go to Mexican joint in Long Beach. Since I have been going back my time from sitting down to food being on the table has been 10-12mins every time. The food is 10/10, the staff is so friendly, the balcony view of the beach is very nice, the staff is very quick and thorough, and the margaritas are appropriately priced. Don’t sleep on this place like I did and/or if you haven’t been go. Pictured is the Taco salad.

We sat out on the balcony on a Sunday afternoon and it was a great spot to enjoy some Mexican food! The salsa and guacamole was fresh and a nice starter before our meals. The fajitas tacos and California were great, would definitely come back again. Only downside was that were a lot of seagulls swarming the outdoor balcony and pooping on the railings.

What a great experience. The staff are great. My waitress was attentive and made sure my dinning experience was enjoyable. This is authentic food and great ingredients. The chips and salsa are dangerous because you can get carried away and fill up on them. They are perfectly seasoned and the salsa is fresh. Wednesday night come here for a trivia night experience. fun for the whole family

Great food,,,, a cut above most Tx Mex restaurants . Excellent service. Our waitress is named Karla Rodriguez. Lovely girl with a positive and warm sense of humor AND she knows her job too. Highly recommended !!!

Usually Good food, at least the other locations, dont normally eat at this one. Server was really nice and polite. But Don’t eat the tacos for taco Tuesday. I dont know what the deal is but that is the worst taco I have ever had. I DID NOT finish them. Tasted like 4 day old burnt meat. I dont think i will be back.

Delicious with great service too! The strawberry margarita was the best one I have ever had. Loved the chips for the chips and salsa. Light chips not the thick kind. The guacamole dip was super fresh. The fajitas were also muy bueno!

Two stars is being generous. Margaritas were weak and we asked for extra shots just to give them flavor. The food was overpriced and lacked flavor!! The portions were small and also failed to meet average expectations. Save time and money.. Avoid the disappointment of patronizing this establishment.
