First off do not let the name mislead you. This is not Mexican food. It is amazing favorites like Chicken Fries Steak, Beef tips and rice, Chicken Fried chicken and an amazing selection of traditional dinner style meals. They also have wonderful sides and desserts. If you like down home style meals you will love this place. It’s nothing too fancy just great food and a familiar atmosphere.,

I enjoyed Juanita’s food. The waitress, Vanessa, was very informative and understanding of my allergies. They made modifications with no problem. My brother and sister in law had the chicken fried steak, and it was fairly big and handbattered. They ate all or most of it because they are good. I suggest you put it on your list of new places to try.

Great find for the Grandkids as they live just around the corner. Grandson reported “these pancakes are better than Cracker Barrel!” Never thought we’d hear him say that! If you’re a Nederland resident, get in there. Can’t wait to try them again.
