My roommate gets us food here frequently. It’s tastes like a home cooked meal and affordable for this part of Mt Washington. They are quick serve and you get a large portion for you money. I am on a budget and can easily feed myself and my kid with 1 of their pasta bar combos, with leftovers. Meatballs are especially tasty, they use nice meat…no gristle and the texture is spot on. Parking is easy too, lots of free spots of kersage.

This is a great little spot with fantastic food. A nice little Italian deli, the essence of pittsburgh. My only issue is the ciabatta bread is FAR too thick for some of the sandwiches they’re making. Makes it almost impossible to eat. If the meat is stacked up like that then the bread should be a little thinner. I don’t want to have to keep readjusting the contents of my sandwich after every bite. Other than that I hope they stick around for a long time.

Stopped on 5/25 around 330 and stood inside waiting to order for 10 minutes before walking out . I was the only person inside this very small place and wasn’t greeted and or even acknowledged . I was glanced at with a very aggravated look a few times but no words. There were 2 workers and the man was just slamming his microwave door shut every minute when the food was heated. Customer service was terrible and they won’t last long on that corner treating locals the way they do . Every place that goes on this corner doesn’t last longer than a year or 2 and this one seems to be on the same path ..
