Julia was very friendly during my visit today. The food was delicious! I ordered a Saltfish and Smoked Herring plate. No issues! Everything was delicious so I will definitely return.

Gotta eat there. I drive 5 hours to eat here. Food is always good and service is top notch. Julia is very accommodating and willing to do what it takes to make you happy. I wanted crab and Callaloo there was none left she went to the store got everything to make it and had it ready for me later that day. Thanks again it was the bomb.

First time I tried a few months ago, I tried their Pelau and they gave me mushy pelau with no taste and I even brought my co worker who got the same thing and I was so embarrassed that I brought her with me and the food tasted so disgusting from my island. I never went back since. I am not sure but the way the food tasted Is as if I came too early and they gave me left over. My sister and her husband however went in May after I did and they got Pelau that was cooked perfectly and had good taste as I remember. I tasted some of their food. I may try the place again because my sister got good food from them but I am still hesitant.

Four stars for customer service.. I miss DA cooking and still can not cook like my mom and Aunt Phee. I stopped in for breakfast ordered the smoke herring meal with green, banana, dumpling, and cucumber salad also had a taste of the fried bakes. I did not care for the finely chopped smoke herring and the wet dumplin’s. And the fried bakes was not that great but over all the portions was fair and meal was OK. I will try the weekend lunch someday soon.
