This cost $43.81?!?!?!? This will be my first and last time eating at this place during dinner. The lunch buffet was pretty cheap honestly so I never expected that price for what I ordered. To put in perspective thats like $4 a drumstick. I would recommend eating lunch here not dinner. The food quality was that of a school cafeteria and not worth half of what I paid.

The fried chicken was OMG SO GOOD and the pulled pork was great also. The white corn was old cold and hard and the white rice was over cooked so I definitely didn’t enjoy that but everything else was pretty good. Our waitress was awesome! The house setup is so pretty I love the southern feel and the southern cooking. The restaurant and bathrooms was very clean. This place is a all you can eat buffet spot. I would give 5 stars but some of the food on the buffet was not fresh. So I’ll give them 3 stars BUT I will be returning to retry them again and I will update in hope I can give this place 5 stars.

Friendly place nice people. The dessert was delicious coconut cake. The gravy was delicious over the mashed potatoes. The salad was a general salad with ranch dressing which was not tasty to me. The Salisbury steak or cube steak was crumbly and dry. It was not a moist Salisbury steak it was cube steak. Maybe I should have made a different selection of meat.

We had the family style for the two of us. It was really good. We actually liked everything on the table. Unfortunately they were out of country ham. The server was very friendly and helpful. The price was not bad for as much as you get. We plan to go back and try the buffet.

My husband & I came here for dinner. What a hidden gem!!! I had the chicken pot pie with cabbage casserole, green beans and chocolate cake. I was pleased by the flavors and temperature. My husband had the Salisbury steak, mashed potatoes, cabbage casserole and peach cobbler. He loved his food. Neither of us had a crumb left on the plate. The server was wonderful, friendly and attentive. We’ll definitely be back here when we’re in the area.

Very friendly place with a unique cafeteria style atmosphere in a really old house. For me that was the highlight. I had spaghetti, but it was overcooked and over sauced. My colleagues did enjoy the chicken. All in all I was disappointed.

We enjoyed the atmosphere and the service so super friendly. That was the best part of the lunch buffet. The food not so much. The green beans were the best part of the meal so I would make a green bean casserole. Stewbeef needs to be cooked slowly for a long time to tenderize it correctly. They need a different type of corn. Corn was hard and not tasteful. Biscuits were ok but they need to use real butter not that 50/50 margarine. Margarine is terrible for your body. They have an old country home but use new type of cooking. Come on people. Put TLC into the slow cooking and seasoning of the food. I can tell you right now that Julia’s Talley House would never beat Bobby Flay!!!! You have to change somethings. Go with old timey country cooking. That is your theme, right? Ice tea was good. I enjoyed that.
