Julius Rib Cage is a no frills place to get some GREAT smoked barbecue! During 2020, he shut down the dining area, never to reopen. The inside isn’t anything to look at, anyway- you’re there for the meat! We have a tradition of ordering ribs, brisket, and pulled pork for family gatherings, and everyone loves it! If you can get Julius on the phone (he’s a one man show now, I think) call ahead and he’ll make sure he has it for you. But don’t go in a hurry- like I said, he’s a one mane operation. But so worth it

Delicious mouth watering bbq. Got the ribs and brisket to split with my sister and was stuffed. The baked beans were the star side, but coleslaw and potato salad hit the spot too. The owner was funny and in good spirits. Please stop here if you get the chance, you won’t regret it

What else can I say? You can’t find better smoked meat at this price, I have passed by that place for years every summer nostrils filled with that smoky good aroma…yet for the first time in my life on my Birthday yesterday and was gifted a feast of dynamic proportion. I took one bite of those crunchy fresh fried okra with this seasoning I had never tasted, immediately drove to the other side of the building bought two more orders! And to top it all off…this is the skill and craft of “1” man. Hands down you won’t get a better BBQ spot for that price, don’t be like me only taking in the aroma for years. Truly a diamond in the rough!
