If you are staying at Thousand Trails Natchez Trace and just need to eat out, this is the place. Food was amazing. I had the grilled pork chop and it was 3/4″ thick and so juicy. Good prices.

Ordered online. Came early to pick it up. Waited 15 minutes past the notification that it was ready. I live 3 blocks from the restaurant. Steak was cold and potato was burnt to a crisp. Wasn’t edible. Not worth the star I gave it and Damn sure not worth $100.

This was my first visit, though my lady friend has been there a number of times before. We ordered onion rings, Cajun pasta, and a steak sandwich. The service and the attention we got was great. My steak sandwich was good.. The Cajun pasta was my friends favorite dish on past visits, but tonight she returned the dish. The Cajun pasta came with steak bits which tasted like leather and the pasta was pasty. The onion rings were too well formed and were disappointing which was made worse by plastic packets of sweet ketchup. Only Heinz ketchup could have made them taste better. This is unfortunate because the restaurant has so much character and the service was great.

We were there for dinner with our family and my husband’s birthday. The food was delicious as always. Our waitress was friendly and continued to refill our drinks. We only had one major problem, the lighting was so dim and area was dark that 4 out of 5 of us had hard time reading the menu. We even asked if the lights could be turned up and they said NO! Other than that it was a great place with great food.

The Raging Cajun Steak is to die for! The hint of Lime with the Cajun Butter is a savory ambrosia.

Food was fairly good for a small town. It reminded me of a over priced Dennys. Not a lot of talent in the kitchen. The waitress was cute.

Holy Heaven, a must have. I’ve traveled the world & no joke some of the best steak I’ve ever had. Cooked & seasoned perfectly. Wow very impressed. This place blew any expectations I had for it. Out of towner! Would come back just for this food!

We don’t get to Hohenwald often but when we do, it’s to make a special trip to Junkyard Dog. The service is great, staff is friendly and the food is some of the best around. Their loaded baked potato soup is probably in the top 3 of best ever.

What a great place! Deborah and her team create a very welcoming atmosphere, and a brilliant menu. My table of six tried various fish, chicken and steak items off the menu – everything was cooked to perfection. I personally tried the 12oz Ribeye, Medium-Rare, Blackened with Caramelized Onions and Mushrooms – THE STEAK WAS INCREDIBLE!! I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a great meal with family or friends. Thanks for the great Service!

Great small town steakhouse in Hohenwald. It was my first time visiting and I wasn’t disappointed. We were there for a late lunch/early dinner and were about the only folks in the place. It did start getting busy as we were leaving.
