We’ve been waiting for this place to open up having seen the signs for the store for several months. Solid 4.5. Food looks great tastes good. I’ve reviewed 5s I thought should be 10s. This just missed 5 because of flavor which gets a passing grade from me however for $40+, needs to be at least as good as street tacos downtown SLC. Issac and company are good folks. They are trying but I’m calling on them to level up! Flavor! Be a 5 that I want to give a 10!

Pricey and tasted horrible! We made a take-out order and took it home.. The meat (Al pastor) was extremely burnt or reheated way too many times (see pics), that is not how fresh Al Pastor should look, not even close. Then they try to re-hydrate it with a ton of pineapple juice..? Not sure, but it was horrible. The first time we ate hear the food was ok, so we decided to try it again etc. Second time was a mistake! After spending $55+ very disappointed this time. Bummer! We were excited that a different Taco Shop was new to the area! Because we love Mexican food and Tacos! I guess we have to wait a while and see if they get the issues/everything ironed out.. We never leave reviews, but we could not believe how bad the meat was, so we had to leave one.

Disappointing. Let’s break down the 3 stars (more like 2.5 stars). The branding is fun, 4 stars. The food itself isn’t good, 2 stars. And the prices are really out of whack, 2 stars. If I’m spending $11 on one taco (call it big if you want), I should get much higher quality ingredients. My wife’s comment was that the meat “all tasted like ground beef” and she wasn’t wrong.

Had the Burrosaurus (it’s a burrito… get it?) with steak. It was tasty, tender meat and a good combination of ingredients. Also tried the Carnotaurus (did I spell that right??). A little heavy on the cheese but otherwise also tasty. Pricing is maybe a little high for Mexican food. Chips and guacamole weren’t great. But if you want a big tasty burrito it’s a great spot!

This is a great taco joint! Good food and a cool theme. I had the street taco combo, each with a different protein. My favorites were the chicken al pastor and the carne asada. Try the Baja ranch on your taco!

The staff is always very friendly. These are some of the best street tacos I’ve ever had! The Carnotaurus is one of my favorites, and we always get the Dino Fries! They are also very speedy, by the time you fill your drink your order is ready. They are always out cleaning the dining room so it’s ready for everyone. I would definitely recommend Jurassic Tacos! Overall an excellent place to eat!
