I visited the food truck at the West Jordan rodeo, and I don’t know if there is anything better to eat while waiting around for the event to start. Get yourself the Jurassic taco and put all the good cucumbers and pickled condiments they have. You will have no regrets. The chips were fresh and the sauces they have are awesome. Like literally awesome sauce. If the restaurant is as good as the food truck you need to visit. Also keep an eye out for the truck.

First time trying Jurassic Tacos and was definitely impressed. Make sure to grab the sauces and toppings from the toppings bar. But even the base food is yummy. Different from other taco places around and sooo good!

This was our first time at Jurassic Tacos, and it didn’t disappoint. The portions were large, food delicious, environment clean, and service friendly and fast. We appreciated the drink options beyond standard soda. We would definitely go back.

Delicious food! Served pretty fast. I think it’s a little pricey for what they are serving, but the portions are very large. You don’t leave hungry. I wish you didn’t have to pay extra for pico.

Been wanting to see what the hype about this place is. Severely disappointed. The tacos are so bland. And there’s only two different sauces. The onions and cilantro are mixed and when we asked for just cilantro the staff wasn’t sure if they could give just cilantro. I ordered 2 carne asada, 1 Al pastor and 1 chorizo. No flavor whatsoever. Not worth the money.

Very good and their servings are HUGE! I feel like the serving to price ratio is very equal tho! It is very busy so If you’re dead set on eating in I’d check their popular times and go when it’s lower, but worth going!

Photos show how the dishes arrive when DoorDashed. Excellent flavor for all the proteins. The order came with a small tub of Pico de Gallo, green and red hot sauces, and chips. Great chips (has that typical oily house-made crisp). Guac was a tad too watery for my liking.

I have traveled up to an hour and a half to eat at the trucks and was so excited when they opened a store front in West Jordan. The first time I tried it was when they first opened and boy was I let down, based on my expectations of the trucks. I decided to give them another shot after a few months and can say that I was still equally disappointed. I understand that there is more overhead than a truck, but the small portions for the price you pay is just not worth it. The staff are not friendly either. Sadly based on all of the responses from the establishment on the reviews left they don’t care about the public opinion and instead will just argue why they don’t meet their customers expectations. It’s sad that this location is what people are basing the Jurassic taco quality and experience off of. The ratings continue to drop, with no intervention or changes. I sincerely hope that the owner takes a look in the mirror and makes meaningful changes to win back loyal customers and not go out of business. Time will tell…

I live in West Jordan, and drove by the other day, so looked them online up to see what they were all about. I like the concept and the pictures made the food inviting. I decided to give them a try and get some take-out. The food was great! Besides when I got home my taco was plain and did not have all the things that should have came on the taco. I said everything when I ordered. I was not going to go back and complain and make them fix it, because I understand mistakes can be made. Plus I did not feel like going back out, because I was already home. I had enough condiments from their salsa bar (really good too) to compensate, so it was not that big of an issue. They were busy when I left. I did have one issue that was a negative for me. When I got home I reviewed my receipt and saw they charge a credit card usage fee. Unless I missed a sign stating that a credit card charge will be assessed, but don’t think so. It was a little disturbing to see that on my receipt. I understand it cost them to use credit card machines and all, but that should be included in their pricing. I personally do not think that should be assessed on the patron every time a debit/credit card is used. To me it is kind of a “nickel and dime” tactic to cut costs. It was not a lot of money as you can see (see pic), but I think it is more the principle to me. I am not sure if cash is an option to not have to pay that fee. I give their food a thumbs up, business practices makes me wonder. You could have the best food in the business, but the service/business aspect also needs to match.

First of all when I called to complain their phone number goes straight to voicemail. Second you don’t get three big monster tacos via DoorDash and get one tiny salsa. I can’t believe this place can’t afford to give bigger things of salsa or extra salsa. Very disappointed. I expect you guys to change up your options on your DoorDash. Because I’m not going to pay $4 extra for extra Pico and don’t even give me a green sauce option. Even so $4 is ridiculous for salsa.
