We hadn’t been here in quite a few years. They looked short-staffed like every place as the server was also the bartender. She was running her butt off as it was a Saturday during football season. It got busy and she handled it so well.

Service was a bit slow but it appeared that there may have been only one waitress so not terrible. I had the sauerbraten w/fries & my hubby boneless chicken wings in Jamaican jerk & buffalo. Everything was very tasty. The fries were the traditional crinkle style, but really well salted & perfectly fried. The sauerbraten was DELICIOUS!! Perfectly seasoned & oh so tender!!

Walked in here for the first time today and just asked for a good Hefe-Weizan and was immediately served up a very tasty beer! This place is a nice little tucked in German bar, friendly service and I can imagine the food is good too. Will be back to try it soon!

Had a couple of the German Beers they had on tap both great. Opted to order the Sauerbraten since it seemed it was a specialty and enjoyed. Husband had brat meal and as I figured he was nit impressed with the sides but wouldn’t hold that against the restaurant, he just isn’t a fan. Waitress great and fun place.

Friendly service. 2 for $5 tacos during happy hour on Wednesday was an impressive deal. Very large tacos with fresh ingredients. Very cheap drink prices. Try the $5 pint of Hamms and keep the glass. $3 rail drinks that are generous pours. Neat ambiance that reminds you of the nostalgia of your grandparents basement bar while still having sports on flat screen TVs.

Came fir the fish fry. Not worth $18. States served with toast and Cole slaw. Came with toasted hot dog bun and no slaw to be seen. Service was terrible to boot. Won’t be back for this fish. Oh, and the fries were soggy. My wife said she bit in to one that was frozen. Disappointed.
