We’re K & B Emporium, and we’ve been a premier cafe and retail store here in Clear Lake, IA, since 2017. Come visit us for coffee, breakfast, and lunch at our cafe, or shop for apparel, art pieces, and other treasures at our retail store. We have a full coffee menu and daily specials. Our retail wine cellar offers handcrafted wines from Iowa wineries as well as a large selection of local beers. We also have a boutique featuring gifts for home and garden decor, kitchen and tableware, handmade glassware, and much much more! We’re looking forward to growing our business to continue to serve Cedar Lake and the surrounding areas. All of our items are special to us because they each tell a part of an important story that we want to share.

I love this place! Have not eaten there yet but had ice cream and bought wine. The boutique part is lovely though a bit pricey. It’s fun to browse the art and pantry goods. The wine cellar is a must-see. Staff is friendly and fun. They have rooftop dining for those wanting a nice meal in a cute town.

It’s not very often that you visit a new place without any idea of what to expect. Chances are that more often than not, we choose to play it safe and pick something familiar to us off of the menu. Saturday was no ordinary day. I walked in with no knowledge of what to expect from the menu, so I decided to place a safe order of a sandwich and to try something new. What an amazing place! They did an incredible job transforming the space, while simultaneously preserving all the character of the original building. From the wine cellar to the ground floor retail to the amazing restaurant and rooftop bar, every bit of it was fantastic. And oh yeah! We had a wonderful meal of delicious steaks and salmon. We understand being short staffed and closing earlier but update your posted hours. I appreciate the website saying your open til 10 but as we pull in at 610 seeing all my daughters ball.. be decent people. Keep accurate hours or stay closed
