They are the worst restaurant and the biggest informer, with no customer service, always minding people’s business and serving leftover food. The atmosphere of that restaurant is miserable like the owner, and she loves to go to voodoo priest or obeahman, whatever you call it, their food is sloppy like her daughter’s marriage

Utter rubbish the beef patties are always old and hard the food is sub standard, my favorite Jamaican dish is oxtail rice and peas with veggies, but this place is definitely consistent in a few areas , the attitude is always horrible and the food is always nasty sometimes the oxtails are under cooked and the flavor is definitely lacking. I’ve never gone to this place and got professionalism from the guy in the back to the elder in the front it’s almost as if I bother them when I go in to place an order always rude and mumbles and then snaps where you say what I can’t hear you . The food is garbage and very expensive for a large oxtail with only bones . Save yourselves run past this place it’s on a hill for a reason don’t hit the brakes!!! This place is what the Bates motel is for restaurants Lol…. No mother noooo!!!!

It’s crazy that almost everyone in town, Jamaican or not knows what kind of customer service, well lack of customer service to expect when stepping into this restaurant. No one wants blatantly miserable and rude people taking their orders like you’re a bother, serving your food sloppily or ringing up your order with an attitude and screwed up face. Everyone’s going through something but I promise y’all don’t have it tougher than anyone else. If y’all don’t want to do your job then strongly consider hiring customer service oriented employees for your front of house so people don’t have to deal with the attitudes. This is not the only Jamaican restaurant in Stamford let alone Connecticut.

I’ve only had the oxtail. The food was decent. Better than expected. As with most West Indian restaurants… it comes with attitude. They can be rude for no actual reason, especially the older lady. God forbid you ask for extra gravy or a actual shopping bag. We nuh have dat!!!

Really bad attitude on the elder lady. I politely asked her for what I wanted and she proceeds with ” you can’t add chicken wings on your fish order” I was baffled. I wanted to create my own plate and she snaps for that. No positivity from there whatsoever. If you as a customer asks for what you require, the basics is to accommodate you in the best way possible. She shouldn’t be running the establishment if there is no genuine passion.

The chicken beef Patty is soooooo bad I can’t make this up. I feel like calling the state on this place. This is my third time eating there and I get sick everytime and this will be my last. I just went in to this place and waited to order my food and the guy working there took some one else’s order behind me. I have never felt that kind of disrespect, the owner yelled at the man saying he was wrong but still did nothing. I refuse to spend my money there no matter how good the food is. I wish I could give zero stars, I’m in the medical field and I heard the the whole Stamford hospital doesn’t order food from them because of there attitudes. Stay away from this place
