A quaint little restaurant with good tasty fare. The lunch 2-course menu is a great deal at $16.99. Save room for the K Town Bistro Trio dessert – it is a great ending to a meal and enough to share with a friend.

I went on mother’s day so this may not be the best representation but here it is: There was excellent service, but not the best vegetable dishes (a bit flavorless and al dente) The house made strawberry sorbet was very good. Vegan options are possible with a few edits but they did make both the salad and the main wrong (so I guess they don’t get many edits to the dishes) but they were very apologetic and quick to remake it.

My husband, who grew up in France, and I went to this restaurant to celebrate our anniversary. Everything that he ordered, he absolutely loved it, but me not so much.

Lovely spot. My entree was the best cooked swordfish I have had anywhere. I’m glad I ordered it, because I typically don’t since it’s so few and far between to find a place that knows how to handle that particular fish. I wish we’d had room for dessert, bc the appetizers and main plates were so good, even the small garnish-type side salads were made of vibrant, fresh greens and delicately flavored dressing. The recently added paint scheme is charming and elegant.

Great lunch and brunch location. The fried oysters were pretty great as was the creme brulé 🙂 Some of our portions were split, so it’s only half of what you’ll normally get

Went here on a Wednesday night, which is half price wine night, and enjoyed our meal. The service was great, cordial, attentive but not intrusive. Menu was diverse with options for just about everyone. I started with the crispy oysters – came with a mini salad and oysters laid on an avacado puree. Didn’t think it would work but it did. Wife had a pumpkin soup that tasted of pumpkin and not of the infamous pumpkin spices. Entree for me was pork osso bucco (pictured). The meat was perfect, tender and delicious. The sides were a delicious sweet potato gratin, not easy to keep some firm texture with sweet potatoes but they did, and there was a side of perfectly cooked Brussels sprouts. If there was a slight criticism, the bordelais sauce was a bit flat and the Brussels sprouts had literally no seasoning, despite being told otherwise in the dish description. One could say this is why there is salt and pepper on the table. We finished with the chocolate mousse (also pictured). It was everything a chocolate mousse should be – creamy, rich, and loaded with chocolate flavor. Overall a good experience, we will return.

We will be definitely back. The taste of food and also service were fantastic. The authentic french silverware complete the table. It would be perfect if french music plays.
