We are from Texas and came into NJ to visit family. As a foodie, I am so upset that this local restaurant isn’t in my own hometown. The food was AMAZING. Fresh, full of flavor, and delicious. The portion sizes are large and very filling. We got a variety of gyro plates and the babaganoush. Oh and the baklava was to DIE for. I might have to buy another plane ticket just to come back to this place, because I’ve not had any food in Texas come even close to being this fantastic.

Was so happy with my experience here. We got the lamb gyro and the mixed platter with onions, peppers, carrots and raisins. Both were delicious. The pita was so fresh. The gyro came with French fries and they were so crispy. They were delicious!

Had skyrocket hopes reading the good reviews. Very disappointed with the service. Food was not near to afghani cuisine and quality was so so. Main complaint was service method. All 3 meals ( lamb, mix platter and chicken) we’re served in toxic aluminum and plastic one-time container with lids on. Along with 3 one-time party paper plate( printed with toxic ink).

I got the Qorma platter with chicken and it was incredibly delicious. The baklava was also very tasty. I am so glad I finally tried this place! The online ordering was easy and the guy at the counter was nice.

Surprise! Went there for the first time simply out of curiosity. Another patron recognized that we were new and made some recommendations. We ordered one of the combo plates, and not only was it delicious, it was more than enough for two. The employees seemed genuinely happy, and it was contagious. If you haven’t been there, try it. We’ll be back.

I have been a customer for almost 5 years now mainly to the restaurant in lake Hiawatha and I see this restaurant is keeping the same high standards too, the food is always delicious and perfectly prepared, the portions are great and everything on the menu (the platters, bugers and sandwiches) is really delicious. It’s my favorite restaurant for sure and wish them all the best. I hope also this restaurant adds more platters to the menu like the Kufta and Kabab Combo that are available in Lake Hiawatha’s restaurant
