This was our first time trying Filipino food and it was amazing! We will definitely be back. The interior decor is very cute and the service was amazing. Our server was the owner she said they have only been in business here for 2 months so we are excited to watch this business grow and we will definitely be back!

Came her for a Sunday lunch to try this new Filipino restaurant. It was pretty full, but there were a few of the about 15 tables available. Service was very friendly and fast.

quite a gem for a yummy Filipino food/treat! Atmosphere is great, clean, friendly and fun, and the food is tasty! The pork bbq is definitely not dry and full of flavors. The palabok already has shrimp in it (no need to get extra added shrimp) and is tasty, not salty. The food maybe on a higher price range but its because of shareable portions. We’ll be back!

I’m very picky about Filipino food. I grew up eating my mom’s food and was obviously biased. My wife and I had the sisig and the pancit bihon and a side of Lumpia Shanghai. Absolutely phenomenal. Seriously, if you like Filipino food, you need to try Kabayan Kusina!

Food: They serve a new menu that I haven’t seen in any other Filipino Restaurant in San Antonio. We tried their Adobo, Sinigang, Sisig, and even the Kinilaw! It was all good and feels closer to Asia. The owner also made some twist with their Filipino desserts, we just didn’t get a chance as we always filled our stomach with these savory entree.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Kabayan Kusina, a Filipino restaurant located in San Antonio. As a fan of Filipino cuisine, I was eager to try their offerings, and I must say, I was not disappointed. From their lumpia and pork pancit canton to their sinuglaw and sago gulaman drink, each dish was a delight to the senses.

Tuyosilog (Dried fish, fried rice, fried egg), Chicharon Bulaklak (fried chitlings) tortang talong (stuffed eggplant), I forgot the other one—grilled chopped pork belly. Such a find in San Antonio. I haven’t eaten fried fish since 2019!1 am so glad they serve other Filipino dishes I also crave for. Clean place, great service.

The restaurant is amazing! The people were so friendly, the food is so fantastic. We got the chicken adobo and the Sinigang with pork. If this is your first time, you can be sure the staff will take care of you and recommend the best dish. Definitely will be coming back!

My family and I (we are filipino) wanted to try this place out because we heard great things and we were not disappointed! First off the owner Sheryl was very friendly and accommodating to us because we had a large group and it was close to closing time but they still took us in. I was pleasantly surprised how authentic and delicious the food was. The gulaman drink tasted great to start off the dinner. We then ordered the lumpia, chicharon bulaklak, fish sinigang, sisig, tosilog and longsilog. We will definitely come back for this food, one of the best filipino restaurants in town. 10/10 recommend to try this place out!

Amazing food! Took my kids to Kubayan Kusina for the first time, they couldn’t stop eating! A bit pricey ($90+ for a family of 5, only reason for not giving 5 ⭐️)
