Qualified and trained in Austria, India, and US, Chef Dhar and his wife Vandana worked in various Hotels before arriving in Providence. Since 1987, their Restaurant Kabob and Curry has been awarded many accolades. They are speakers, instructors, and authors and have hosted cooking shows on television. Chef Dhar was featured on the Rhode Show!

Their rice is perfectly cooked. Kati rolls are beautifully seasoned and have a nice crunch. Channa masala is also well seasoned with the perfect amount of spice (I asked for medium). Service is quick and staff are friendly!

I’ve only ever had delivery so I cannot comment on the atmosphere. 2023 was my first time ever having Indian food and I’ve had it many times now. I love the grilled chicken tikka and the naan is great! Spicy and delicious!

Excellent restaurant! Wonderful food, pleasant atmosphere, incredible staff. They were so kind to me on my birthday and we will definitely be back. Madhav was SO wonderful with my one year old son which meant a lot as a first time mother. We love Kabob and Curry!

I love this place so much! I come whenever I’m in Providence. Their food is top tier and rice is somehow especially good. I also really like the building. It’s small and cute with a nice little greenhouse style room to sit in. Everyone’s also very nice!
