The place is a bit tight so call ahead if you have more than 4 in your party. The food is always awesome. We’ve been a few times over the years and it’s one of the best sushi places in the Dayton area. Staff are busy but very helpful and friendly. They have a great selection and nothing has disappointed. If you like a small show get the playboy roll, they BBQ it at the table.

Such a unique building and really friendly staff , we had the spicy veg soup and sunomomo both amazing as well as the gyoza being perfectly seasoned and very big . The main course was kalbi ribs being raised on the big island of Hawaii im a huge fan of kalbi ribs and the only thing I would have loved is for the cook to be a little more done on open flame to caramelize the marinade a bit . Definitely will be back for sushi .

The food was excellent!! Next time I’ll definitely get the Miso for my soup again, it was delicious!! Only thing I found odd was that soda is bottled and not fountain. That won’t make us not go back but we just won’t order a bottle of soda for $3.50 and only be able to drink 1 bottle. We don’t drink soda at home so when we go out it’s a nice treat and we find ourselves drinking a couple glasses.

You can see the poor and dirty ceiling above the sushi counter. I remember I saw it last year and it’s the same this year. They nevet tried to clean it. I called in to make the app but when I showed up, they let me wait again and it took me another half an hour. I asked them why do I still need to call for reservation. Their answer is just call ahead is good. I am so frustrated. I am super pregnant but they never thought about it. Although there is an available seat but they still lead me to sit aside the table in the access area. Several people passed by me and almost hit me. I asked for hot water but it never be refilled. Frustrating experience!
