Decided to come here with my Filipino wife and was really disappointed. We had dinner here since we read good things about the place. The service was nothing special, the food was expensive and tasted like a TV dinner. Meat cold, veggies too hard and flys buzzing your ears while you eat. For almost $100 dinner, this was brutal. That’s why the 1 star review. We had to ask for utensils and it was just overall bleh. #DisappointedBigTime – I will say the appetizer of the calamari was awesome.

I chose this place for Valentine’s day and had a great experience during the evening. The atmosphere was pretty casual and stuff were very customer friendly. But the most interesting part was when chief was cooking right in front of us. It was very unusual from my perspective and entertaining at the same time. Prices are reasonable for food and for drinks as well. If you are looking for fun dinner with the loved one or with the friends – do not hesitate to visit this place.

Absolutely love this place! Been going here since they opened. Hands down some of the best sushi you can get in the suburbs. Service is always on point. You can get hibachi where they cook it at your table or sushi. Full bar, large menu. I love visiting with the owner Chat. He’s always great, friendly, and funny. Even if we go 6 months without visiting, he makes us feel like we’re his most important regulars. If I had all the money in the world I’d probably eat here 2-3 times a week

Place is great. Food and service was excellent. I have gluten allergy and I don’t eat sushi, but love Japanese places 🙂 the appetizers and salads did it for me. I’ll definitely go back again. We saw the Hibachi tables, which were already filling up, but I find that style of food way too much! You’ll enjoy either section!!

My husband and I are frequent customers of Kabuki and love it. We’ve only eaten in the dinning room, and what sold me right away on the place was how great they are with my shellfish allergy. I never have to worry about cross contamination, and both the waiters and sushi chefs are great about this. The 12 and 15 piece sashimi platters are so beautifully put together. The rolls are wonderful – even the vegetarian rolls which blow my mind. We love this place enough that we brought a large group of out of state friends here the night before our wedding reception, and everyone had a great time and loved the food!

Best sushi I’ve had period. Chad the owner is extremely nice and orders all of his fish fresh and only stocks as much as he needs for a day or two. The atmosphere is very inviting and warm. I highly recommend this place to any sushi lovers or anyone new to the venue.

First time here. Food wasn’t bad but not the greatest. Fried rice was more like sticky rick with the soy sauce and a very little bit of egg in it. Tofu, on the menu said it was grilled/seared, came out with just the edges barely browned. My food was from the kitchen not a live chief. Veggies and soup were good. I’m only giving this 3 stars cause I expect a bit better for the price.

Kabuki is the best Japanese Restaurant and bar. Their food is excellent. Every time my family and I go and have dinner there we always feel welcomed. The food is outstanding! The service is great! You could tell the people who work there love their job and boss. The Owner always makes you feel welcome and you feel like part of the family.
