Arrived here about 20 minutes before closing. I was expecting A LOT more for a place with 4.9 Stars. First, the price is a bit steep for what you get. That leads me to my second point: the food itself. The sandwich soup lunch combo my father ordered had little to no Mustard, and no pickles. Tiny portions as well. The Lasagna I ordered looked good and tasted pretty decent, but it was tiny and not worth the steep price. In addition, it was a pretty lengthy amount of time from order to delivery. On the plus side, service was decent and the place is decent sized and cozy.

A cozy place for lunch. Well prepared sandwiches, burgers, salads and roasted vegetables. The vegetarian options are adequate and the staff are eager to accommodate. The owner is the chef and he takes an interest in every customer who comes into the restaurant. I would not call this fast food, but quick food. Well worth a try. It’s on the corner of Main St and Alhambra in downtown historic Martinez.

What a great new place in downtown Martinez! I really appreciated that there is a whole section of the menu labeled vegan. There is a great selection of food & everything was delicious. The prices are great as well. Will definitely be coming back again and again 🙂

So delighted to see this Main Street staple doing so well. Serving delicious fare just over the counter in a home kitchen. I had a magnificent Reuben, and my wife enjoyed a quesadilla, though she wanted it a few degrees hotter. Tasty chicken salad on the side. I’m looking forward to visiting again.

Not sure what happened to this place or if my friends and I have just gone here on bad days recently. We used to come here about once a month for lunch. The sandwiches were stuffed full of ingredients and the service was quick and orderly. The last few times we’ve gone, the sandwiches have been almost all bread, made sloppily, and just generally lacking in the quality we’d come to expect. The last time we went, we decided to eat there and discovered that the tables were sticky, and we were pestered by a half-dozen flies the entire time we were eating.

My absolute favorite lunch spot. I pretty much always order the roasted vegetable sandwich on focacia with a small spinach salad. SO delicious! Great, friendly staff and great space with pleasant outdoor seating on Main Street.

8 years ago Haute stuff was one of my favorite places to eat in Martinez. We moved away now we are back. I have been there twice. The owner used to be so happy. Now she looks tired and worn out. The food is mediocre… i was waiting for my food she looked at my number pretty much tossed my food on the table and was rude. Look get out of the business if you can’t work these long hours not to mention stop being rude to the very people that are helping your business stay afloat….
