Kachina has been a staple in our family for decades. Whenever one of us comes back into town we must visit Kachina. Like many others we were grieved to hear that their location had changed. However, after several visits here since the move I still rank this as a must visit when in Flagstaff.

Food was decent, service was horrible. Our table of 5 not one had their drinks refilled, not once had our table checked up on, and our grandpa was waiting patiently patiently patiently for his meal, after about 15 minutes we asked for his meal and it hadn’t been placed. This wouldn’t have happened if our waiter had attempted to check on us even once. Icing on the cake? He said he took that meal off the check (we cancel it rather than wait) but he actually left it on the bill, and he didn’t even apologize. I’m usually pretty fair when it comes to things like this, but the fact that our grandpa wasn’t even given a small apology, and they brushed it off with “sorry but we’re short handed” just doesn’t sit right with me.

The food was not good, the Mexican style chicken fried steak tasted like it was cooked in grease that was a month old and the chips and salsa that I paid for was a half bag of chips and about 2 ounces of salsa.

Went there 6/3/23. There was a sign saying short staff. Ok we stayed anyway as we always go there. Service ok, waiter got order wrong and we told him but he did not care. We informed the owner. She said he made a mistake but did not seem to care. Did not even offer to fix or comp it. Husband only ate half of it. The food was not even as good as usual. We will NOT be going back.

Outstanding customer service Lee the waitresses took great care of us.The food was outstanding we ordered the Navajo taco and it was very tasty. The chips and salsa are complementary and the salsa is homemade. I highly recommend this restaurant and if you stop to eat there ask for Lee she will take good care of you
