Stumbled upon this place cause it was right next to the bike shop where I had to fix a flat tire. But my goodness, so glad I came in! You know the place is legit when the workers are all Japanese and you can taste the dashi in the miso soup. Love the cute little side dishes that come with all the lunch specials. It’s a place where you can order anything and not be disappointed.

Very authentic Japanese teishoku place. Made me nostalgic for Japan! Large menu with sets and a la carte options. Service was excellent, and the atmosphere was very nice. Communal tables, but it was appropriate for the venue and service style. Will definitely come back again on my next business trip to LA.

Small Japanese restaurant. Very high quality food. The inside has 2 U-shaped community tables, a few booths on the side, and a sushi counter. Outside there are two tables as well. I came to this restaurant because another Google review suggested they had good ramen. Unfortunately that was incorrect, they don’t serve ramen, although they do have udon and soba. I ended up getting the Katsu Curry Gozen, which is a set that included katsu curry, miso soup, a green salad, 4 pieces of sashimi, and some root vegetables in a light broth. It was delicious and came out very quickly. Would visit again
