I was searching for doubles since the other roti shop closed because of a fire.

Raw chicken in my chicken fry rice. Seems like they cook in large batch for the day and does not follow food safety guidelines. There have been times that my food spoiled less than an hour after buying.

Stopped by on an early Saturday afternoon for takeout. Although White Plains road is pretty busy, that particular stretch isn’t too bad…there were a few metered spot available on White Plains road within a block or so from the restaurant.

The food was AWFUL! I ordered Chinese style fried chicken with chicken fried rice. There was NO chicken in the fried rice. The rice was stale so too was the chicken. I called to make a formal complaint the server had the unmitigated gall the audacity to ask if there was fried chicken in the order. Chicken fried rice and fried chicken are two different things. I mentioned that the chicken was black she quickly stated that it is the black sauce. I know how soy sauce looks on Chinese style fried chicken. I’ll go back to the restaurant in Lefforts Queens the food is great and the hospitality is commendable. I trust that there is better service and better tasting food.

I had a chicken fried rice yesterday. I am sorry to say, but I felt I wasted my money. Food was tasteless. Back in guyana, we never had coloring rice for fried rice. But I must the girl infront was a nice person.

The food is halal it’s very good I was nervous because pictures of the restaurants say they serve pork it’s a lie they are certified halal My go to is curry chicken curry shrimp roti the eggplant is delicious you maybe need to season it to your liking the older sister is a sweetheart it’s a little pricier than your average roti shop but the portion is larger and it’s well worth your money

My family go-to spot when we can’t go to Hibiscus in Queens !! The food is delicious and the black pudding is tasty… seems like they have an express section so you can grab and go if you can’t wait for your order to be prepared.

The food is good, like their roti. The place is small with no sitting area, takeout only.

Doubles aren’t made fresh, the puri is hard & so is the chana. Not the place for good doubles.
