We are visiting LA for the weekend and were dying for sushi. After walking a long ways to try a very popular spot only to find out there was a two hour wait, I scrambled for a something new and quickly came across this restaurant. The reviews were stellar, just not a lot of them and I assumed they were new. When we arrived it wasn’t super busy, but the staff was really warm and all greeted us. Our server was incredibly attentive and got our first orders in immediately. They were talking with people at the bar, and we loved the vibe.

To start, the staff is amazing and so nice! They make you feel very welcomed and you’re more than just a customer here. I ordered a lot of food but the Muscle Heaven and the Salmon Engawa Roll were the two that stood out the most to me. Exquisite flavor from an exquisite restaurant. Highly recommended if you enjoy sushi.

I stumbled in here because I parked in their parking lot to go to another business. There was no one dining inside when I came in and the atmosphere is very casual. I wasn’t expecting too much and am very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the sushi! I will definitely be back. And the lunch specials are well priced.

I am not sure what happened but this was my first visiting this restaurant and I didn’t have a memorable time after… the food was good and waitress was very attentive and food was made fast…. After leaving this restaurant is when I felt bad, nauseous, and had a bad stomach ache. I found out that I got food poisoning from the food I ate here… could not sleep for a whole night with vomiting and using the bathroom many times. I am not trying to ruin anyone’s business but I just wanted to share my awful experience.

Not ordering delivery from this place again. Twice it has taken 1.5 hours to be delivered. First time it happens you think it’s a fluke. Second time proves it wasn’t. The app said it was “preparing” for most of the 1.5 hour delivery time. Each driver had to wait for 45 minutes as the restaurant was finishing their “preparing.” It takes 7 minutes for the delivery driver to drive to you. When the food gets to you, all of it has been sitting for what seems like an hour. Not one thing seems fresh. What were they “preparing?” Why was the miso soup lukewarm? Why was the sushi fish the same temperature as my tongue? Why was the rice the texture of once soggy bread due to having some of its moisture evaporated and now creates a thick paste in your mouth? Why did the food sit there for so long? JUST GIVE IT TO THE DRIVER WHEN IT’S READY. Thanks for listening I have said my piece and will probably never eat this place’s food again.
