Good. Solid. Japanese. Food. I stumbled upon this place as I was getting an acai bowl 2 doors down. Well, I came back a couple weeks later and I’m glad that I did. The staff was very polite and very welcoming. They were very patient in telling me the different options that they have, because not only do they do the Japanese style of cooking on the grill, they have poke bowls, and sushi too!

I like all the paintings on the wall; they are very pretty to look at. As for the foods, they are awesome. I ordered the five-piece takoyaki appetizers, and they came out hot; crispy on the outside and soft inside. I just wished they came with bonito flakes and nori or furikake.

I ordered a poke bowl tonight that came half full. The manager said it’s because they used 32oz instead of 24oz because they are out… That’s still not half. Then she said they’ve made a lot of bowls tonight without any problems. Great for those customers, assuming true and no one just didn’t want to call, but that doesn’t mean anything to me. She offered a credit where I have to call and give my name… She’s writing it down.. Wonder if I order again if they’ll remember. Wish I could add photos.

Everyone was nice and the food came out quickly. Unfortunately sushi is not their expertise which was what I was looking for today. Very limited selection and most of it deep fried. For the first time ever I didn’t even eat it all and had to throw some out. Maybe he better for Poke bowls but …

Place was good but doesnt really stand out with other asian place. They do have poke bowls but we haven’t tried it yet. Ramen was just okay, It was not serve hot either. Sushi was good and for the price i like it. It does bother me that they use all plastics. Will come back tho to try the poke bowl. Place has nice ambience.
