We had a really special night in this intimate spot. I can definitely see this restaurant being a great restaurant to become a regular. Everything is very sourced and high quality. The delicate portions were perfect for us. Service was just enough but not too intrusive. Minimal look on the sushi counter. Very recommended to order a few dishes at a time and just enjoy slowly.

We went for early bird omakase which is $58. It comes with one appetizer and eight piece of Nigiri sushi. Sushi was good but the sushi rice was bit small for me. The portion was not enough for me so I had to order some more roll and nigiri. Food quality is all good but the price is a little bit high. We paid $130 per person.

Went here for Valentine’s Day and did their omakase. It was an amazing experience, with so many selections given to us during the night. the kumomoto oyster, the tatare, foie Gras.. the servers were on point with beverages too. a decent sake list as well! all in all, it was worth coming here!

I’ve always wanted to try Omakase. It’s the type of meal where you leave everything up to the chef. Most restaurants that offer this type of service are situated in Manhattan, but I found a hidden gem right in Flushing to take my wife out to.

We were pleasantly surprised by this Japanese tapas shop in Flushing. To be honest we didn’t have too high expectations. We were just seeking for some sushi and it was cold outside.

Definitely not bad, and all the ingredients were super fresh and service was top notch. Although I felt it was a came up a little short for the price point and was expecting more. I was especially disappointed that Uni wasn’t part of the $170 Omakase experience.

Hidden in the basement, this place is a tiny cozy Japanese restaurant. Their menu is limited – mainly serving high end sushi and sake.

Highly not recommended. Saturday night dinner, and we were the only table between 6:30pm to 8:30pm. The overall quality is below average and I don’t think they can survived in the competitive Flushing. The tuna avocado salad and the hamachi Kama were the only two dishes we ordered that had average quality. Fried dumplings were those made from frozen packs, fried chicken wings with too thick battered, fried squid legs were hard to chew, the unagi don was tasteless, sushi rice in chirashi bowl was prepared with too much vinegar and the portion was too small with the price they charged you. Bowl of ramen was the worst, soup was warm, but salty, and noodle was cooked for too long.
