Kalo Bombs! A delicious and versatile dish that can be made sweet or savory to your liking. The Kalo Bombs start off with freshly made paʻiʻai (taro paste) and with a base of locally produced Tropical Dreams Ice Cream, then topped with delicious and sweet toppings which include almonds, niu (coconut cream shavings), and so much more! In addition, Kalo Bombs can be made into full packed meals and we will be selling Kalo Poi and Ulu Poi separately! Our ingredients are always sourced fresh from Hawaiʻi Islands, and served with the warmest Aloha.

There’s a reason why this place has five stars! Stopped here yesterday for a Kalua Bomb Bowl but ended up getting the Kalua Nachos and a container of picked onion. Service was speedy, friendly, and informative. We went to our car to enjoy our meal and ended up loading the pickled onion on top of our nachos two separate times. They went so good together. These were the best nachos I’ve ever had! Highly recommend. This was my first time trying Kalua pork and poi (toppings) and I loved both!

Just discovered this amazing little spot. They have been open for a month. This is the first time ai heard of pa’i’ai and I tell you want. It is absolutely delicious!!!! The service was superb too. I had no idea what it was and the sweet girl in the window was very patient and explained everything. A must go to if you are in Pahoa.

Absolute gem, which we discovered by chance strolling through the map of Pahoa food places. The food was epic, we came back the next day to try the Kalua Nachos. First day I had the Kalua porc (smoked/cooked in underground ovens, traditional way. No words how good it was. Not sure if they have it everyday though). The Pa’iai was so good, never tasted it before but fell in love.

Tried their kalua nachos and they were mind-blowing!!!! SO GOOD I was full already but I ate the whole thing in one go!! Can’t believe how good it is, guys, you HAVE to try it!!
