shabby dining area. scam of sashimi set. We ordered sashimi regular (it says serving 15 pieces, but 3 are eggs, 3 are cooked shrimp, 3 are white tuna, 3 are worst-quality tuna). The only delicious part is salmon. But come on! It’s an 29.99 set.

I got takeout here and it was so delicious! Their rolls were big, fresh and so worth the price. The space in the restaurant might seem a little but off at first (we were there when the dine in time was closed and only take out was being offered), but don’t let that fool you! I love this place and would totally come back again!

This place has easily become a Go-To for all of my sushi cravings. The rolls are delicious, and service is very friendly and efficient. One of the pluses of this spot is how they are open later than other spots in Washington Square—huge bonus points for any night owls like myself. I would highly recommend Kamiza to anyone in the area!

The couple that run this spot are awesome! There was a mix up with our payment and we accidentally paid twice, they were super nice about t and gave us back our money and even some free sushi! The steak teriyaki is amazing! Would definitely recommend!

I’ve been coming to Kamiza for years and have always had the best experience. The sushi is so fresh, the menu is expansive with some really unique rolls (so there’s so much to choose from), and the owner is the friendliest guy! I love the new additions to the menu, like poke bowls and Korean food. My poke bowl was HUGE and such a good value. We’ll be back again soon!

Most amazing sushi around, excellent for takeout and a very attentive dine-in experience. Absolute best quality and best value – super inexpensive and reasonably priced for what you get. Can’t recommend it highly enough. Very friendly family owned establishment, been part of the neighborhood for a long time since they took over back when it was called Minato and was owned by their friends. Go try it out and avoid the overpriced trying-to-be-trendy place a few doors down! Kamiza rules!
