This lady is not only rude her food is poor quality . There is barely any meat in the chicken roti . Also I asked her for 1 order of pholourie she said “you want me to fire up the grill for just 1 order of pholourie? She talks horribly about all the other restaurants in the plaza . I will continue to go to Joys Roti shop . If I could have choose half a star I would have .

Went to the restaurant “Hibiscus” next door to “Kams” my wife and I walked in to try the doubles. The lady working was very rude when we entered . She was talking to the only customer in the restaurant at the bar, and they made us feel like we interrupted them. She rolled her eyes and sucked her teeth when I ordered a doubles. She got up with an attitude and made us feel like we were wasting her time. The doubles sucked they were so sweet and the Bara was raw. Go to Tabanka!!

Kam’s Roti Shop is a must if you are looking for authentic Caribbean food. The aesthetic is super cute, it reminds me of mom and pop shop. Very down to earth place with phenomenal Trinidadian food! Anytime I’m in the city it’s my first stop. I highly recommend 🙂

I ordered takeout on the phone. When I arrived, I was charged more than the price on the menu due to using a card to pay. They then rudely said that they wanted a tip but I declined. It’s a good thing I refused to tip because the roti was horrible. The dough was still partially raw and the chicken lacked flavor. Very disappointing experience. The quality of the food and customer service was no where close to Joy’s Roti Delight or Priya’s Roti. If I could give less than 1 star, I would.

Kam’s is a very nice very humble kind of Roti shop. The owner and chef is a very nice and down to earth person, she’s friendly and treat you like a family member visiting her home. He food is cooked with love, just try and you’ll understand. I’ve sampled almost every dish and I have no complaints. I reserved one star for future improvements in location and storefront presentation. Food wise and personality gets an A+.

I walked in and asked “What are doubles”? I did not have my phone to check. The woman says “You don’t know what doubles are”. If I did I would not ask. Instead of describing what it is, I was told by a customer they are like little roti. I asked is there meat in it? Woman says “You can have meat for $3 more. Okay so my question still remains. Based on the attitude alone, I walked out.
