My wife and I love Kang Kang because this place has a plethora of dishes to try and they are all so good. The owners of Kang Kang are so sweet and kind, they treat us like family. I highly recommend you try their Sheng Jian Baos (pan fried juicy bao) if you haven’t tried it before. Also try their four-item combo plate so you can select and try other entrees (ex: purple eggplants, pepper chickens, stir fried tomatoes and eggs, broccoli and beef).

An order with your eyes hot bar makes it easy to grab a quick combo meal for cheap. There’s a menu above the buffet area, too. Loved the pan fried soup dumplings, but watch out, they squirt!

One time I was here an old man yelled at the worker because there was hair on his pork feet. The worker told him a pig has hair. The old man yelled back that the hair should’ve been removed and then threw his food back at the worker. The workers here are truly happy working here. There was a fire here at this restaurant this morning. Karma!!!!

It is what you’d expect for a food court style restaurant. There is prepared food that can be pick from at the counter as well as a menu of short order items that can be ordered at the cashier. We had the wanton soup, beef chow fan, and pan fried bao. The wantons were delicious, but the broth left a bit to be desired, the beef chow fan was delicious and quickly made, and the pan fried bao were very tasty and large (although personally I would prefer a thinner skinned bao). It has a bit of the generic ‘hole in the wall’ aesthetics, but generally the service was good, and the food was great. I would definitely recommend for both a quick midday bite to eat or filling dinner

A great place to pick up handmade dumplings. The prices are a deal compared to other frozen dumplings in the Los Angeles area. We got the pork, shrimp, egg, and chives dumplings which had huge amounts of fillings (maybe too much). The dumplings were a hit at a recent party. Will certainly be back to try the cooked food. Cash only

After hearing everyone rave about this place, I’ve finally been able to pay a visit, and it definitely lived up to the hype. This place is such an authentic, down-to-earth, neighborhood staple. They make all the simple comfort food dishes so well and so cheap! The stars of the show shengjianbao and xiaolongbao were so juicy and simply flavor bombs! I’d definitely be driving out here more often!

Foods are good but service is really horrible, I have place a order in the FanTuan App, it said can be pick up in 24min so I went to the stores and ask the waitress that is it my food ready she said no, then she continued to help the other customers, I got confused so I ask another lady to help to check, the first waitress that I asked saw it and said I already to her that is not ready yet with an attitude, the I ask politely “the app said I can pick up in 24 min how long I need to wait for my order” she kind of yelling when we saw your order we place it ASAP I don’t know how long it take if you wanna wait you wait over here if not then you go. I was like I just asking I didn’t said a word that I don’t want to wait, then what is the meaning to order ahead we still need to wait for another 30min

Great price. I go there primarily for two dish, beef noodle soup and their famous fry bun, sheng jian bao. The bowl of noodle is huge and good taste. The fry bun is advertised on their front door. Order the correct one and you won’t be disappointed, super juicy as it will squirt on you if you are not careful.

A really fast food Chinese restaurant. Food is ready on a tray and all you have to do is point just like at Panda Express. But the food is more exotic. There are ribs and the famous steamed fish head which is so delicious. You can order off the menu too for their specials. There are a variety of Chinese herb and fruit drink and cold coffee. Try the chili sauce.

Their best item here is the Shanghai pan fried buns (上海生煎包). I’ve tried them in different restaurants in the area but kang kang does it best. You just have to be very careful when you eat them because they’re so freakin juicy.
