I will not sugar coat this place, it is not for everyone. Kang Kang Shau May is a hidden gem bringing delicious Chinese comfort food. It is not the typical Panda express or other places trying to copy them, they bring a unique experience to the table by offering the traditional Asian fare. Probably the best value authentic chinese food still around. Plates start at just north of $6 and top out at $10 for the 4 item combo with rice and soup. Their boba is exceedingly mediocre but is only ~$2.5. Give this place a shot if you want no frills Chinese plates with great traditional flavors.

They’re back! Dine in open too! Shanghai fried pork buns to die for. A must order item! Just be very careful biting into them, full of hot delicious juice but will burn you. I also love that they sell frozen dumplings which I haul all the way to the Palm Springs area since there’s no good Asian food out that way. That way I can have a little taste of good Asian food when I’m out there. Happy Kang Kang is back!
