I celebrated my birthday here last night, and I can’t stop thinking about the food and the service. The entire experience really exceeded my expectations. Sitting in the chefs kitchen is really a special treat. He explains the origins and ingredients of all his dishes as he serves them in his spotless kitchen . You can feel the love in that kitchen and in the food . The staff is so well trained. The take home bag of Portuguese treats was so unexpected and so appreciated! I felt like a celebrity. I cannot wait to go back!!!!! Thank you for making my birthday absolutely magical!

Kanopi hosted us for a corporate event last week. The staff was absolutely incredible. The food was hands down the best event food I’ve ever eaten. The view of the NYC skyline was decent, I guess. 😉 I travel and host events around the country. The crew at Kanopi makes my top 3 list, maybe top2, and they may be the best. Well done. Keep it up.

The food, service, and ambiance are absolutely impeccable at Kanopi. I dined here for the first time recently a couple weeks ago with my then girlfriend, now fiance, and this restaurant hold a very special place in my memories as I proposed to her there the night of that dinner. I called ahead of time and spoke to Danny who helped me arrange the entire night and helped me with getting a videographer to capture the moment. We did the 5 course tasting menu with a cocktail and wine pairing. The drinks are just as phenomenal as the food. You can really tell how much care and precision the chef puts into his creations. Every dish was incredibly fresh and bursting with flavor. I can say with confidence that my dinner here was by far the most impressive and memorable dining experience I’ve ever had and I will certainly be back here again!

Incredible experience. Interesting and unique food techniques paying homage to traditional dishes and ingredients. Chef Anthony produced a stunning experience putting his heart and soul into his food and it elevates it to a level few other dining experiences in the world have matched for me. This place used to be the old 42. It’s under new management and the service, decor, seating and most importantly the food has been much improved. We were received in the lobby by the staff that escorted to the elevator that would take us to the restaurant. We sere there for late lunch so it was very slow. The person that sat us also served us. He was amazing. Made us feel welcomed and well cared for. The lunch menu is short but varied. The drink options are well though out. My daughter and I will definitely be coming back. Besides the great food, the bathroom were clean and well cared for. And the view of White Plains is amazing. Highly recommend it.

We had the pleasure of dining in Chef Anthony G.’s kitchen on March 10. The experience was amazing. We were seated at a high rustic wooden table facing into the kitchen where the chef Anthony, his wife, and his cooks assemble each course. The service staff is extremely friendly and offered to take us for a stroll to the 43rd floor for a break and a tremendous view of WP and beyond. Chef Anthony takes the time to explain each course including sourcing of ingredients from local farms and far off waters. He even brought over a second yellow tail prepared differently with a dusting of hot peppers since I like it a bit spicy. Each course comes with unique sauces and is presented with delicate touches for presentation such as flower petals or blossoms of cilantro. The first peas of the season formed a puree on one seafood dish. The meal is explained on a printed menu but there are extras that the chef includes that make the experience fun and unpredictable. When you sit in Chef Anthony’s kitchen you might as well be a member of the family because he and everyone involved invite you to enjoy and to learn about his philosophy of cooking. Our tasting experience ranks among the best meals anyone might try.
