This is a great place for really good sushi and great prices during lunchtime. They have about 20 combo options where you get two 8-piece rolls plus a 4-piece fried roll, miso soup, and a small salad for $16-$18 (as of June 2023). You just can’t beat that price for 20 pieces of sushi with soup and salad. This will be one of my regular lunch places from now on.

We loved it here! We both got the all you can eat which is definitely worth it. The owner is the sweetest lady ever and went above and beyond and is so nice!

We had a group of 6. Our waitress sat us at a few combined tables so we could eat together. She was pleasant & served us well. Our order was a teriyaki beef bowl, two yakisoba chicken, a California roll & Dublin roll & a children’s nuggets with fries. Our food arrived within a reasonable amount of time & the food’s presentation was appealing. The sushi got a decent review from our group. The teriyaki beef bowl was good. The Dublin all but disappeared & the California roll was gone by the end of our meal. All of the nuggets & fries got eaten. I was one of the orders for the yakisoba chicken. The sauce was bland & the chicken had an odd aftertaste. It was well cooked, I just didn’t like the flavor. All things considered, I give the experience 3 stars. I posted pics of our food & the menu. Some of the people in our group would probably go back. I would not.

Sushi is great, the noodles are horrible. If the udon noodles weren’t so terrible I’d give 5/5 stars. The noodles are literally one of the most thoughtless, bland foods I’ve ever had. The beef teriyaki on the noodles is terrible. Imagine, chewy boiled chunks of beef with only the slightest seasoning, that’s what you’re getting. Mercifully, they don’t put much of the awful bland beef on the dish…. Disappointing for sure.

I am dedicated to a sushi restaurant when I find one that I love and hands down Kanpai is it. Their staff is very generous and maintain an inviting atmosphere. The food has a more than professional appearance, desirable taste, and the itamaes always strive for and somehow achieve perfection. The layout from Rolls to Nigri to Sashimi is a masterpiece of its own and delicate bites that take you to heaven. If you are a sushi fanatic coming through Colorado Springs, this is a must stop.

Nice place. Good selection of rolls, beverages, and other meals with friendly and efficient service. The cabbage salad is amazing! It looked like they had a good variety of lunch specials (I went for a luncheon) available with mixed roll selections. I did wish that they somehow made the breakdown of each roll on the lunch special menu a bit easier to figure out which roll contained what. Other than that, this place is great and I would definitely recommend it!

Any sushi lover seeking all you can eat sushi, this is your place!I used to go to Sushi Ring but stopped due to poor service from the wait staff. I wish I found this restaurant sooner! It’s worth the 37 dollars per person.

We had a dinner at this restaurant. It was very busy but despite that the service was fast. The restaurant has a great variety of tempura rolls which my family usually enjoys the most. Fresh good quality food. This is a popular place for a reason.
