My 1st time here was an amazing experience. Awesome food, great atmosphere. My 2nd time here was mediocre at best. Food was still great. But, service was lacking. They didn’t have hot green tea…. and they never brought me my miso soup.. But, I’ll probably come again when passing through. And they automatically add an 18% service charge on all meals, not just large parties…. maybe I won’t be coming back.

The food is good, the place is small, but cozy, a little more customer service is needed. to give it A+ I would give it C, suggestion, they should leave the path free for people who use wheelchairs. It is not my case but I saw that some people could not pass and we had to get up so they could go to the bathroom.

My Life

I went to try it out for the first time, and the service was awful. As we tried to attract their attention to collect the receipt, they didn’t bother to check on us or even look at us. Quickly depart as the lady drops off the receipt. Our wait time was almost 15 minutes, and they never bothered to pick up the receipt. We had to approach them to grab their attention, and the lady didn’t even offer an apology or anything. I watched them grab the salad and chicken with their barhands, so if you don’t want people touching your food with theirs, don’t come here. Sincerely, I’ve never had a worse service than this. Given that they charge 18% for service, I anticipated receiving a fantastic service. But I definitely did not.

I recently visited restaurant, and I was left disappointed by the poor food quality and service. The sashimi fish had ice inside it, and even the edamame had ice particles. The servers seemed more interested in their smartphones and personal activities than attending to customers, they are just missing order, ignoring their customer…. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this place based on my experience.

Went here for lunch after a visit to Point Isabel. It’s inside a mall with a 99 Ranch and other shops. Got the miso soup, vegetable rolls, and spicy tuna rolls. The vegetable rolls were very good; the spicy tuna rolls were good but not the best I’ve had. Service was attentive and the ambiance was nice.

We ordered takeout online, service was good and food was ready on time. Food was tasty overall: 3 sushi rolls and the tempura combo. The basic California roll was better than the specialty rolls. Weird thing about the tempura combo- the menu stated 2 shrimp and vegetables, but 2 tempura pieces were unrecognizable as vegetables. They appeared to be fishcakes used in traditional Japanese oden but were undercooked and pretty inedible. It was an unpleasant surprise. You expect shrimp, green beans, kabocha, broccoli, etc. but not rubbery fishcakes. Not sure if we will come back…
