The food here is so delicious! I highly recommend the deserts of you have a sweet tooth. Everything here definitely comes with a price tag though so be prepared. The atmosphere is romantic and dim lit and it’s best to make reservations for a table. A lot of celebrities come here and I’ve sat next to a few at the bar! You definitely pay for the location and the ambiance here but thankfully the food, the drinks and possible celebrity run ins are worth it!

I brought my parents here as a spur-of-the-moment finisher after a whiskey tasting, so they were…enthusiastic diners, lets say. I called ahead to know if they would be able to seat us, and despite a full dining room, they accommodated us late arrivers with seats at the bar – no complaints here, as it was entirely last second. Overall the service was impeccable. Friendly, attentive, and graciously overlooking the tipsy faux pas of my giggling mother struggling with her chopsticks. 10/10 waitstaff.

Great food! Quite expensive but very unique flavors and presentations. I recommend the rolls, kale frisee, toro tartare and caviar. The only dish we didn’t like was the steamed egg- strangely very rich and had a very unctuous, off aftertaste. Service and ambience were both excellent.

This place was amazing! Very expensive but very well worth the price. Definitely can’t wait to go back to try other items I couldn’t try during my last visit.

omakase is a joke. you will leave starving. sure each piece was good – not great save for a few. but if you expect to be fed, order a bento for lunch and save your coin. $228 including tax. Not including the pizza slice i am now searching for.

Party of 3 we spent $600 and left hungry. Portions need to double or prices come down else you’re seriously taken advantage of. I’ve had plenty top quality sushi and none so exorbitant as this with mediocre service.

The beef was melting in the mouth instantaneously. The food is of good texture with delicate ingredients sprinkled. This is a highly recommended Japanese restaurant.

Kind of a power couple, Date-a-Model kind of place filled to the brim with people that haven’t worked since grandad built a railroad to somewhere and then started putting up libraries. You know the, let’s go see nan’s old things at the Met kind of crowd. Kind of like the Mark bar for those wishing a higher Mark as well. Place doubles as a watch museum. A smattering of young couples and groups fill out a somehow cozy and animated room. Decor is still beautiful although there is a godawful Hirst painting that almost ruins the interior. It’s disgusting, like someone vomited out all the ideas he’s never had onto a canvas in a desperate attempt at getting attention, a kind of painterly bulimic Insta model achingly gnawing on nails in search of salvation through approval put to paint kind of a thing. I don’t know what will fill the museums of the future but it won’t be Damien Thirst thank god. Staff is excellent and helpful. Food is still great. I kind of wanted to hate it but couldn’t. It’s expensive. But for a look into a kind of modern take on the The Masque of the Red Death, it’s hard to beat. Only better place is Nikki Beach. But Nikki Beach is vulgar, this isn’t vulgar. It’s good food, good cocktails, really good sushi, good ambience. The miso soup is nice and I recommend a Toki highball to accompany it all. In unrelated news I saw a homeless man wearing a Canada Goose jacket on the way home, so I guess trickle down economics is finally taking hold!
