Great little restaurant, six tables and four seats at the bar. All were filled while we were there and the restaurant was non stop with constant to go orders, the place was hopping. It is hard to hear others at your table due to the music playing. However the food and service were great. We ordered the Karai Ramen, Shoyu Ramen and the chicken tenders, all were yummy!

Excellent flavorful food. The server brought water to our table right away, which was nice. The inside is dimly lit and they were blasting Pop music over a speaker. Otherwise, the inside was fine. They are efficient with technology with the use of scanning for menu on the phone as well as paying on the phone. The ramen was quite spicy in a pleasing way and I will definitely return.

Hidden gem for savory and delicious ramen! It’s a cute small restaurant with a quick and attentive staff. Good for a quick bite or dinner with a friend. The food is delicious and they have speciality ramens quite often! I would definitely recommend checking this place out!

Always love this place and you should always try their specials when they have them available. Levi is one of the best ramen chefs in Jacksonville and likely helped create the recipe for some of your other favorite spots as well.

It’s been five years since I’ve last dined at Karai. Let me just say this… Karai is like an old flame. That bird you loved when you were young. The great white buffalo, as some may call it. The one that got away. Having this spicy tonkotsu was like reconnecting with said bird. It’s divine. It’s literally magic. The textures are delightful. The spice is present, but not overwhelming. The noodles have the right bite. It’s a broth you want to hold you like a homemade sweater. This is hands down the best ramen in Jacksonville. Period. Might just be some of the best ramen in America. I said what I said.

I post reviews as honest as experienced and this 5 star overall rating is NOT fake. Food was absolutely amazing and this is my 3rd time going. I got the Katsu chicken appetizer and the Akai Katsu Ramen and WOW. Its like tasting artwork! And the staff is super nice and friendly and the enviroment is perfect! Will ALWAYS be my go to Ramen place!

My favorite ramen spot in Jax. Follow them on Instagram to see their specials and use their website to join their waitlist before you head there, it’s usually a 10-20 minute wait for 2 but they have a bar with seating for 6 that is open if you don’t want to wait for a table.

First time eating here but not the last. Had the tonkotsu ramen. Broth was rich and creamy and the pork was tender and flavorful. The atmosphere was friendly and the ascetic reminded me of ramen shops I’ve seen in Abroad in Japan.

Very Good, small hole in the wall type place. They have a decent amount of ramen you can get and one bowl is more than enough to fill you up. They must have upgraded their recipes, because the spicy dishes are way stronger.
