Went with a friend for a late dinner, we were the on folks in the dining room but there seemed to be a pretty brisk take out scene. The server was friendly and attentive which was expected. The food was great, we went with spicy level 2 which was just enough for me and friend. I’d be afraid to see what 5 is. We shared some spring roles that were great. I had the Shrimp Pad Thai and it was great as well. My friend enjoyed her dish as well. I think this is more of a weekday lunch spot but the food and service were good.

I had dinner there today. The service and the food are very good. I got the soft veg spring rolls and vegetable tofu red curry. The taste was perfect with the medium spice per my request. Will visit the place again. They are changing the name to Cafe Kottu soon.

My first time trying Thai food so I don’t have anything to go off of, that said, the food was pretty good. I gor the medium spiced chicken Pad Thai and the sticky rice. The spice level was a little more than I could handle but the Pad Thai was delish regardless.

Second time here, I came in for lunch today and not sure how they keep the business running and it’s hardly anyone in there.

By far the best halal thai food in Greater Houston. My favs are green curry, pad thai, basil fried rice, pad see eaw, taste of ginger, … the list goes on! The place is cozy and empty. The order comes pretty fast. Waiters are polite and kind. The only critism I have is that sometimes they mix-up the spice level in your order. Make sure to clarify and re-state it to the

I hate to write a negative review about this place because I do love the food, but after my last encounter, I can’t see myself ordering from here again.

If you ordered from here as “Karawok,” know that it’s under new management and they’ve changed the name and cut portion sizes in half (same Pad See Eaw entree pictured from 2021 and now). I know inflation is a thing, but cutting portions instead of raising prices is a deceptive way to raid existing customer goodwill, and while the food itself was about as good, it’s now gone from cheap to overpriced.

I received a tiny bowl of fried rice. I asked for chicken, there is hardly any chicken. I asked for it to be spicy, there is almost no flavor and definitely 0 spice. The kicker, this small bowl of rice, was $15. Not coming back.
