There are a million Thai lunch spots to choose from in Hell’s Kitchen, but this one is very good. Low key, excellent prices, no frills, and great friendly service. The spice level is perfect, if you like spicy. Vegan friendly.

Ordered the Rama King crispy chicken w/steamed broccoli in peanut sauce, it was crunchy & delicious. The sauce was nice & thick, it stuck to every piece. I also ordered the lemonade which was generous & flavourful. The service was immediate, meal came quickly & the portion was excellent, enough to make a 2nd meal. Take home was scrumptious the next day! Recommend Kare Thai if you’re in the neighbourhood of 10th & 51st street.

Believe me, when you see a photo like this, it means that we had to keep enjoying the cuisine before we had a chance to take a photo. Without a doubt the best Thai in New York. There’s amazing service and curry sauce, and your choice of spicy or non spicy, and the Khao Soy Chicken (real slow cooked actual chicken, not veggie chicken in Northern Thai style curry) and Crab Meat Fried Rice are to DIE for, along with pretty much every dish. And the people who work here are amazing and friendly.

I have lived in Hells Kitchen for the past 5 years with my wife. Kare Thai is our default Thai restaurant for delivery. We have tried others and they are fine, but Kare Thai is consistently great and always executes the order with no issues. Drunken Noodles, Chickan Satay, Green Curry and Cold Beef Salard are go to for us and always hit the spot.

There are a great many restaurants in new york city; this is not one of those restaurants. If you are trying to leave a BAD impression, this is a great spot for a date! Have an enemy? The food here is incredible – especially with the hair and food poisoning I received in my peanut curry. Highly recommend. The service was spectacular as well! When I went to pick up my order, the maître d’restaurant opened my order to make sure it was the correct one, and then rightfully sneezed directly into it before handing it to me. 0/10 highly recommend!!
