1st time I ordered for delivery I asked for 20 ounce they sent me 16 ounce. 2nd time I ordered they call me from clark cause they were lost. 3rd time I ordered they were over an hour late and come to find out they charge 6$ dollar’s for delivery which the delivery driver does not get a cut from. First let me start by saying the owner is so nice! Every staff inside is as well. Sweetest delivery person too!. If I need to order pizza the kids will say, please order from this place!!! I have ordered from other places, so much so , And not once did they thank me for their continued weekly order, no discount, no coupon offered not even a free can of soda. Yet when I ordered from Pomodoro, the order arrived with garlic knots. It was like I received a thank you! They didn’t have to, but they did. The pizzas are amazing ! Great tasting food!! This will be the #1 place I order from.

This is a new edit as of June 23rd I doubt I’ll order from them again. The food has been late each time, one time they forgot my order, another time they charged my husband for something and sent him the wrong item. Last night the pizza was iced cold. It really sucks to see a great place go down hill like it did.

Good pies and great sides! Il Pomodoro definitely delivers, both in quality and in actual delivery. Not too expensive and pretty quick serving time. They are definitely the best in the area and should be your first choice when looking for a quick bite. Hope they stick around!

I honestly don’t know how it’s got such high ratings. I came in for a slice of sausage pizza and since they didn’t have it they wouldn’t make it for me. They didn’t have plain pizza that they could have added sausage to.. The sauce on my slice was tasteless. While waiting for my slice, I see why the sauce is tasteless. Watching them make pizza, I saw how watery the tomato sauce was. If it wasn’t for the raised edges of the pizza being made, the sauce would have ran off my one slice of sausage pizza with peppers and ricotta cost me $4.50. I could have got a hole Papa John’s Pizza for $5. I was in a rush, but rush or not, I will never buy one slice of pizza from this place again. It was not worth the money

Il pomodoro is the best pizzeria restaurant I ate in New Jersey. The food taste great and the service is on point!!!! There’s nothing better then walking into a restaurant and feeling like home.
