Service was good. Pizza was ok. I’m not a big fan of thick crust but the crust had a nice crunch to it. The sauce and cheese were nothing special. I’d gladly eat there again whenever I go to the Columbus flea market but I wouldn’t go out of my way to go there. There are just too many better pizza places closer to me in Philly

Name the great food rivalries: Geno’s vs. Pat’s, Hattie B’s vs. Prince, etc. Here at the South Jersey, at opposing ends of the Columbus Farmer’s Market, it’s Pete’s Pizza vs. Kate and Al’s. Both serve a square tomato pie, and the winner is … Kate and Al’s! Pete’s is tasty, but the crust is just sort of there to hold the sauce. Kate and Al’s crust is light, fluffy, buttery deliciousness with the perfect combination of crunch and airy fluff. No contest!

SO GOOD! Very different. Definitely not your typical Jersey shore pizza, nor is it tomato pie like DeLorenzo or Papa. Somewhere in between Sicilian and grandma’s. Excellent sauce with what tastes like smoke provolone?? Got half plain, half works. Loved it!

Some of the best pizza in Jersey. Hands down! They don’t make them like this anymore. Super affordable, very consistent, and always delicious. Located inside of a rustic town market, you will find some very great finds here! A local staple!! You must come here at least once in your life. You won’t be disappointed! Just be patient with them.

The best tomato pie around! Tip: call ahead to place an order to avoid delays. This is a popular spot and they do get busy and sometimes fall behind.

I love love love Kate &Al’s! Every chance I get to go to Columbus I grab a few slices. The whole pie is Only $10! You can’t beat that price anywhere. Something about their sauce and the perfect way the crust is toasted. um um Good!

Walked buy this place a couple of times even though I saw people there all the time just thinking its another pizza joint. Years later I saw a YouTube review and over another year later decided to finally try and boy have I been missing out! One of the best tasting pizza ever! If you find yourself walking by this place just try a slice you won’t regret it.

Well known pizza joint for Philly style pizza cheese on bottomsauce on top. Place is well loved and always has a crowd. When I stopped by the whole pies had an hour wait, and I had to wait about 15 minutes for the slices. But they were good and the sauce was very good.

Old school tomato pie done right. The lovely ladies running the stand are hard working and friendly. Love this place.

Well, this IS the best tomato pie around. BUT…it’s just dough and sauce! Not any cheese. So why does it cost $20 for a pie? AND you have to wait there an hour for it. I can’t believe people stand in line and wait an hour for the opportunity to pay $20 for a pizza with no cheese on it. I KNOW it’s tomato pie and isn’t supposed to have cheese on it, but cheese is the most expensive ingredient in a pizza. Take that away and a tomato pie should cost LESS than a pizza, not more. Less cost. Greedy owners with a good product equals high price and long waits for consumers. Pete’s Pizza, thier rival at the other end of the market is no better.. I’ve been eating at Kate and Al’s for 45 years and made pizza for 10 years but what do I know.
