This was a nice little burger place. The waitress was very nice. The service was very good and quick. I ordered a regular cheeseburger, it came with fries or choice of onion rings. The burger was not too greasy, and not dry. The atmosphere was calm and quiet. Not exciting or extravagant, just an average burger restaurant.

2 cheeseburgers to go were terrible. Meat was overdone, tasteless and dry. Cheese square was less than half the size of the meat. Fries were greasy and gross. I was very unhappy.

I had the brisket nachos. The homemade chips were awesome; they really hold up to a full load! The cheese was slimy nacho cheese but it’s hard to fault them because they WERE nachos…

My girlfriend and I came here on our way to colorado and it was way better than we imagined! We both grew up with southern style cooking and this exceeded our expectations! We even got the honor of meeting Kathy, who spoke briefly about the art work in her restaurant. Can’t wait to come back. Thank you Kathy!

Good food, good portions for $$, and moderately priced. Good bang for the buck. Kathy makes some good home style menu items. I travel a lot for work and am always looking for the little local places to get fed. I got fed and full! #supportlocaleconomies

Went here since it was close by. They are really under staffed, no acknowledgement when you come in. We stood there waiting 10 minutes for a table. None were ready and noticed that customers started to bus tables. It was odd. The burgers were over cooked to the point of being dry.

I had been meaning to come to this place ever since I first heard about it but it’s way on the other side of town so I just never got there until yesterday. I mainly went because I had heard they had a Midwestern style pork tenderloin sandwich and or pork tenderloin dinner. Unfortunately it turned out they had stopped offering that because not enough people were ordering it. I totally understand but it was a big disappointment to me personally because that was something I miss about the Midwest and thought I had found a place where I could enjoy it. Other than that I really like the place. It’s old Diner style which I really enjoy. I got a surprisingly early start for me and got there shortly after opening which is 10 AM. Unfortunately they didn’t have any breakfast choices but their special of the day was catfish so I ordered that. The catfish was wonderful. Not overly salty like so many places. Perfect flavor, perfect coating, comes with one slice of white bread, a pile of delicious homemade french fries, not frozen. The ladies who own it/run it were very nice. If there was any drawback at all it was just at the table seemed a bit tacky like it still had stickies on it even though she wiped it as soon as I sat down. Their prices are very reasonable for what you get and they have daily specials. I took a picture of the specials board and posted it for your information. The portion they gave was very generous and I had leftovers to bring back. I asked if they had any desserts and she said they used to serve desserts but not enough people ordered them so they stopped making them. No sense wasting food if people aren’t buying it. I don’t usually order a dessert but I just had a feeling this is a place that would have really good ones. There is a thrift store I like up in that section of town so I will probably try to go again and hit up both at the same time. Do I recommend it? Definitely.

We saw this place on the side of the road and I’m so glad I did! The food is epic. Fantastic. Worth the drive. Service was fantastic too. They have a grilled cheese with brisket and jalapeño poppers on it. Best thing I’ve ever tasted! Will definitely be back.

We stayed at the KOA who recommended Kathy’s, a place that as a home cooking with large portions, my husband had the Chicken Fried Steak special and I had the Philly Cheese Steak. We were definitely satisfied customers waitress showed kindness and care by keeping our glass full and offered one for the road.

This is an awesome little mom and pop kind of place. Always greeted with warm welcoming staff, once you’ve been there a time or two they already know what you drink, remember your name etc.The facility is clean, food is great and prices are very reasonable. I look forward to their lunch specials!
