I had the Katsu Don (fried pork bowl). The meat was good, and the cutlet was well fried. What somewhat disappointed me was the rice bed with onion, egg, and spices. Simply put, it was so bland as to be almost tasteless. But maybe I’m spoiled by having had this dish in Japan so many times… Anyhow, if you go to Mitsuwa (Japanese supermarket, they have several locations in SoCal), they have a more “authentic” Katsu Don in the food court. Still, not bad, but the experience besides the cutlet could definitely be improved.

Food was good. I like their chicken katsu more than their their pork. Customer service was exceptional. 4 stars, because there were items that were on the display menu but not in their kiosk menu were you place orders. Then i saw a poster of the egg salad sandwich and that’s wasn’t in the kiosk menu. So that was a little frustrating.

They do Katsu sando right! Crispy pork Katsu, with the right amount of savory, to be paired with a sweet jam in the Carby soft white bread. It’s a perfect combo.

I was originally going to L&L, but I thought I’d give this place a try. The katsu is cooked very well and tastes great. The prices are a bit high for the serving size. I was the only customer eating in and several of the tables were dirty along with the bathroom. The tables are also small and super close together. The parking lot here is always busy and packed. It seems like they do a lot more business through pickup and delivery.

What a great place for sandwiches and katsu curry! Perfectly cooked and well-packaged for pickup or delivery. Sizable portions on the mushroom appetizer even, not something I’d expect in these plague times. Keep this place alive!

OK so this place was a random find on Google Maps and we are so glad we came. The food was unreal. Absolutely worth the money and the experience was fantastic. If you’re in the area definitely swing by! We got the Baja and the original sandwiches. Neither of them were the outstanding favorite, because both of them were so freaking good!
