A wonderful special occasion for us. The atmosphere is very upscale and elegant. We were made to feel welcome and comfortable. Staff is incredible with attention, suggestions and service. Truly a family-run operation. We enjoyed visits with the owners and chef. We were delighted with our menu choices: Steak Tartar, Black Ink Fettuccine, Scallops and a terrific Mango Guava Cheesecake for dessert. With expert and detailed advice we also tasted a couple of interesting international wines before choosing the Au Bon Chardonnay. It was a great experience and we definitely plan to come again.

Went here on the recommendation of a friend for an anniversary dinner. Luckily we came early and were able to secure a table without a reservation, although that is certainly recommended. We were seated in a comfortable, quiet spot and attended to quite well by Katya herself! There was light, live music to add to the ambience. We chose the 4 course food and wine pairings and shared the different plates. Everything tasted wonderful, hope to visit again and try something new.

I wanted to treat my mom, grandma & sister to a special dinner to celebrate my Mom’s 50th birthday. I had did some digging online to find a few nice restaurants and came across Katya. Words cannot describe how amazing my experience has been, from my first call to them discussing my reservation, all the way to saying goodbye on our way out. Katya, her sweet parents & Chef completely surpassed our expectations. Kathryn helped me make our dinner extra special with a beautiful hand-written birthday card, sparkles at the table, and a delicious bottle of wine and cheese board awaiting us at our table. I am forever grateful to her and her family for putting in so much effort to make my mom feel SO special. We will definitely be back for more! Thank you all so much!!! If you’re reading reviews and considering dining here, don’t even give it a second thought!

I took my wife here for an intimate dinner shortly after we moved here to Ocala. It was probably about two months ago (March 2023). Yes, it is upscale and the atmosphere is wonderful. It is certainly on the expensive end. Honestly, I can not rave about our entrees. I had duck which in my opinion was WAY undercooked and not all that tasty either. It was just “OK”. I was certainly not blown away. I do not remember what my wife had but she also was not impressed with her meal either. We also had a glass of wine. We spent well over $100 for the two of us and I do not feel it was money well spent. I will give it high marks for atmosphere but that is about it. The service was good but nothing extraordinary. I have had equally good service at cheap diners. I would not recommend it. I guess it is good to try all the downtown Ocala restaurants to get an idea of what is there and then make your own decision on which you like the most. We have tried at least half and I would have to say I prefer Ivey’s, Harry’s and Mark’s Prime over Katya Vineyards. We will absolutely not being going back.

What a gem!! Last time I was in this area was well over 15 years ago. This restaurant can definitely hold its own in any big city. The staff is so warm and inviting. The Chef comes out to greet you and makes sure you’re happy with your meal. Family owned and everything made with love. The decor, music, food, attention to detail is superb. You’re not left waiting for assistance or wondering how long before you’re waited on. I don’t like wines because it always gives me a headache, but the Vlad red wine was delicious and no headache. Everything we had was delicious. The sliders, beef tartar, tuna, red pepper soup, the Carmel cheesecake were spectacular. Take your time eating the cheesecake. Let it melt in your mouth and take the other half home to enjoy the next day. I will ask for no drizzle on my slider bun. I just don’t like sticky stuff on my fingers, but the drizzle is delicious. We will definitely make it a point to stop here every time we drive up. Guys and girls take your special person here to make a lasting wonderful impression! Thank you everyone that made this evening such a delightful treat!
