I enjoyed the Reuben, which was made with nicely sliced corned beef, but the bread was a little disappointing (thin). There was also not as much meat on the sandwich as with most Jewish delis. Provisions in Waxhaw still has the best Reuben in North Carolina in my opinion. My wife really enjoyed the cheese blintzes. $33 for two people.

Craving for NY style deli so we drove 20+ minutes to Katz. Ordered NC best Reuben (don’t remember the exact name) with corned beef. Absolutely the best sandwich in NC! The fish platter of pickled Herring is also very tasty! Too many options on the menu, will be back to try others.

Ordered the pastrami sandwich on a Kaiser roll with house made Russian dressing. It was AMAZING. By far the best hot sandwich I have ordered in North Carolina. The service was great and the food came out really quickly. High recommend and will be back to order the same thing!!

Excellent deli! Possibly the best in Charlotte. I went with my step day who was born and raised in Brooklyn and used to go to a Katz deli there when he was younger. He swears it must be the same people down here because it tastes exactly how he remembers Katz in NY. Anyway, the sandwiches are incredible and worth a drive from far and wide. My step dad said he has yet another reason to visit us now that he’s been here. Come try it out, you won’t be disappointed and you’ll be supporting a locally owned company!

Today I stopped in for a sable sandwich. Beautiful fish, excellent taste, silky texture. Prepared and served by three very kind people behind the counter. At a table near me, a couple of guys who appeared to work there had stopped by on their off-day for lunch. That tells me something about the quality of the menu! My lunch was so enjoyable that I ordered a pound of whitefish salad to take home. (And by the way, it is LIGHTS OUT good!) Thanks, Katz Deli. You’ll see me again!

One of the absolute best Reubens I have EVER eaten. Of course all the best ones were in original delis. So glad there is a NY style deli in south Charlotte. Been a long time since we had one around here. Can’t wait to try other items on the menu. Already thinking about the stuffed cabbage. Thanks guys! Keep up the awesome work!!
