Fran & Steve Katz, a retired Dental Hygienist and Dentist, originally from New York, have been in the food business for many years. Their son, Michael Katz, CEC, CFSM, CHE has been Head Chef at several fine clubs, restaurants and country clubs is an Assistant Professor at the Culinary Institute of America, and is a consultant at Katz’s Deli.

This was our 1st time here. It smells delicious at this restaurant BUT they have paper menus at door with no prices. A normal or even priced sandwich is about 10$. I have 7 kids. Unless you look for another menu you just assume the prices are not outrageous.

Oh y’all! We got bacon egg and cheese biscuits, biscuits and gravy, and a chicken and egg biscuit for brunch. All of it was amazing!! And the place is so cute and homey, and everyone was so nice. Will definitely stop here again if we’re ever up this way!!

Loved our lunch in the quaint little sandwich shop that had been converted from an old house. The BLT sandwich was fresh and delicious with plenty of bacon. The BLT came with a side of chips. After wandering the town following a trip on the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway we decided to grab a bite and are so glad we picked this place.

Drove here today for lunch (1 hour)! Such a cute place. The food was so good and the owner was so nice. We got bagels to take home along with muffins. Also got the Ruben, egg salad, chicken salad, and shakes! Everyone loved their food! Will be back for sure!

Old house turned restaurant is an awesome idea and the place looked very cool. Arrived at about 2:10 and they closed at 3:00 but the staff seemed like they were in a hurry to close and annoyed we were there. Sandwhich maker in the back was downright rude, and the lady in the front was more professional but almost sarcastic. The food was ok but expensive. Won’t be back based on the reception we received.
