Best place to enjoy Italian food on the island of Kauai! From the outside, the restaurant is deceiving – located on a fairly busy street, in Lihue ,not too far from the airport. Inside, they’ve created an intimate dining atmosphere, with a lot of ambiance. There’s a small bar with a fairly wide range of selections and tables are spaced appropriately. It is typically busy place- at least for dinner, and patrons range from couples out for a special night, to larger family celebrations. Yet, with all that, the service is superb and you feel like you are getting a personal, and vattentive experience. We visit the island frequently and on our recent visit, we stopped by Kauai Pasta twice. The second time with friends. We really enjoyed the pan roasted cauliflower made with a unique twist, gobbled up their famous house salad which includes feta cheese, Kalamata olives, tomatoes, and cucumbers. As far as entrees go, the home made pesto pasta which included macademia nuts was excellent. I enjoyed the lobster and shrimp ravioli and through it was superb. My husband is a picky pesto fan, and said the pesto grilled chicken was perfectly cooked. We returned a second night after we all sampled one of their daily specials: the

So good! Get the shrimp scampi (pictured), best I have ever had! Full of huge shrimp and the sauce is absolutely amazing. The ambiance of the restaurant could use some work so dont let it throw you off, the food is worth it!

Very friendly staff. Clean and modern setting. Everything was great, Italian soda was very good. We had the fried mozzarella appetizer, very good. Me and my wife split the lasagna and couldn’t finish it. I didn’t love it but I couldn’t quite figure out why. Maybe I should have gone with meat sauce instead…

Food is excellent. Great lunch menu. Service was decent. The entrance sign’s for lunch bring you in through the bar area where there is a wait to be seated sign. No servers around when we first walk in and the sign is sitting on the bar. Was a little confusing at first since no one was there to greet us in any way. We stood there for a bit before anyone came around. We ended up sitting at a table in the bar anyway and watched as several other people also seemed confused and one family even just left. Once we got seated I think the guy taking our order was a little new. He didn’t seem sure of what soda they had and I had to order mine again after my wife’s drink came out with a different server. Who ended up being our waitress. Overall I would recommend this place for the great food and decent beer and liquor selection. Assuming the wine selection is good but didn’t look at a wine list so I can’t say for sure.

I love coming here for dinner their specials are so good!!. Tuesday night’s is the best one. You get a king crab special that comes with loaded mash and asparagus with seasoned drawn butter and the crab legs are huge!. If you’re on a date or with a friend I recommend 1 getting the legs and the other getting the steak which always so good!!. Me and boyfriend did that and we loved everything.
