Kava House and Cafe was one of the best places we visited on our trip out to the Midwest! We visited on “Burger Friday,” and the burgers did NOT disappoint! It was a pleasant surprise to walk in and smell the sweet aroma of coffee and see all the delicious flavors! My only regret is that we didn’t have time to go back so I could try the coffee and homemade cake!

Stopped in to buy a Deneen Pottery coffee mug but found they don’t have any in stock. Bummer. The employees are really friendly. The turkey sandwich was delicious as was the fresh fruit! This is a very fun environment for dining.

A great spot to go in Swisher. We were in Amana and drove to Java house for some breakfast and coffee. Such a treat. The baristas were nice and friendly. They had good hot breakfast options, pastries, and ice cream.

The food here is very good. The coleslaw was flavorful with just the right amount of vinegar. The turkey, bacon, and cheddar was on toasted bread which makes all the difference. It also came with veggie straws which I don’t care for. The service was pleasant and my food came quickly. The prices were ok, not high but not low either, pretty average. The latte was well made and very hot which was excellent. I would recommend this place if you are looking for a small town vibe with very nice people and delicious food.

All I can say is WOW! I had never heard of this absolute gem of a place. A friend told me about it and took me here. Simply amazing food. Everything was so unbelievably fresh. They have desserts including ice cream. They also have coffee drinks! I had a chai tea smoothie that was delicious! Try their fresh fruit side, it’s so good. I am eager to come back here as soon as I can and to tell everyone I know about this place. I also love the decor!

Stopped for early lunch on a Wednesday. Ordered the Dill-isheous Turkey Wrap, which was very large, fresh and tasty. The fruit salad side was beautiful and delicious. It’s a cute venue and got very full by noon. Pastries and desserts looked amazing, but I did not try any. I highly recommend.
