Good place for Indian comfort food. 5 star to masala Dosa. Potato masala was made north Indian style which tasted amazing. Onion pakora was fresh, right amount of batter, very crispy. Chicken Tikka masala was dependable. Paired it with madras paratha which was like dry north Indian roti, balanced out richness of chicken Tikka masala.

Excellent south Indian food. Idlis were soft. Vadas were crunchy and tasty, masala dosa was also good. Tomato chutney and Sambar were highlight. Sambar was spicy and hot, so good. Lassis (both regular & mango) were okay, not great.

Went on a Friday evening buffet. The $15.99 is not worth it as dish choices are sparse and the same from lunch. The Chicken tika masala is yummy but the Saag Paneer was just tasteless. The rest of the dishes are average. This place used to be much better. The restaurant definitely needs an update and a good cleaning. Service is minimal. I gave an extra half star for nostalgia as Kaveri was the first Indian restaurant I tried and made me love Indian cuisine.

Kaveri Madras Cusine is a hidden gem. Very clean place, very tasty food and good ambience. The quality of South Indian food is defined by its dosa – their dosa is not oily/greasy as some of the other places. Same goes with the vada, not oily at all. The chutneys are authentic with the right amount of spice – coconut chutney is mild and tomato chutney is spicy. The gulab jamun on request is served warm – is very tasty. Ambience is decent and ample parking is available. Highly recommended.

food quality is okay and taste is mediocre too. I didn’t find it very good but neither too bad. As for the price I guess this place has higher prices and the taste doesn’t justify the price because I have eaten in much better places with same price. I ordered biryani 6/10, chicken tikka 7/10, matar paneer thali 7/10. Total damage $60

Great dinner menu. I usually go for the lunch buffet, but was very pleased with ordering of if the menu for dinner. Their chicken makhani is my favorite. Great garlic naan, too.

So good! We’ve lived in the Arden area for 2 years and never tried this place until last night. We were craving Indian and this was the closest place. We were blown away by the menu, the smells, the flavors and the portions, wow! They are not stingy in any way! The food was great, nice ambiance, nice people! We’ll definitely be going back!

Went to lunch here because I was craving idli and dosa. But I was sorely disappointed… everything was unsalted and bland. The coconut chutney didn’t taste like coconut, and the sambhar was thin. Needless to say, very disappointing. I will not be going back.

I’ve been eating here for years!!! Multiple times a week!!! Sometimes daily!!! I can’t believe they got rid of the lunch and dinner buffet!!! The price and selection was very fair. Food was always good but this just breaks my heart. Until they bring the buffet back, this 1 star review remains. Prices have also jumped up quite a bit and food quality has changed. Hopefully they can go back to what they were doing before Covid.
